True Spirit attended with 6 competitors in the sparring and 3 in the Poomsea competition. We also provided a corner judge. There were 250 plus fighters from around the country and our thanks go to Master Gary Sykes for a well-run competition. We did have a couple of mis-matches but with so many fighters it’s bound to happen.
Results in brief for full report please see the members area.

It is essential that Black belt candidates attend pre-grading seminars to get BTCB recognition for attending without this it is impossible to be considered for black belt promotion. It is also a fantastic opportunity to train with a senior black belt or Grand Master and meet other people. Grades under 2nd kup can attend a seminar prior to the main event, 2nd kup and above can attend both. I attended the event on the Saturday 9 December. This met all my expectations - a very enjoyable event!
