Welcome to my site, it is all about my love for the rabbit fancy in the form of breeding, showing and judging.

Let me tell you a little about myself!! My name is Trina Cooke, I am 34 years old and I live in Great Wigborough near Colchester in Essex with my Husband Ian and my son Kyle who is 5 and my little Daughter Freya who is the new arrival and was born on 4th July!

I started Breeding and showing rabbits after an operation as a small child of 7 years! I asked what I would like as a present for being in hospital in which I replied a rabbit! I had the parents backed into a corner as i had no pets so my cunning plan worked and after comming out of hospital we embarked on the quest for a 'pet' rabbit!

We came across a phone number of  breeder of Netherland Dwarfs, in Rayleigh, Essex called Mr Joe Newman, and made plans to visit and purchase a bunny from him!

Well when I walked into his huge shed I was speechless!! he had over 100 Netherland Dwarfs in a rainbow of colours, we came away with a show standard red eyed white which I called 'Tufty' he was a lovely rabbit and from then on I was Hooked!

My First ever show was at Three Leighs in Hawkwell Essex. (Which I am glad to say has come full circle after being named Essex Thameside for a few years and having a few troubles has now been reverted back to its original name).

I have now been breeding Netherland Dwarfs for 27 years and have opals, agoutis and the odd self and otter. I am on the National and East Anglian Judging Pannels in which I really enjoy Judging when I get the chance!      

In 1998 I aquired a pair of beautiful rabbits called Hulstlanders!! they were called Clooney and Georgette. I was besotted with them and sort to get them standardised in this country which I did. I now have a stud of Hulstlanders which I am very proud of!

Last to join us are the Himalayans! these are Kyle's as he has just started showing! he has done really well already winning best Junior twice and also best Fancy! he looks after his rabbits well a very good boy! He also has a pet Netherland Dwarf Jake who is a vienna marked blue eyed white carrier! he is very cute!
