Trike Masters was started in 1982 in a backyard garage owned by the founder, Raul Guardiola .
Raul and his friends toyed around with taking old volkswagens and modifying them to create some of the world's most famous trikes and five-wheelers.
The club eventually evolved and grew into one of oldest, largest, and respected clubs in the country.

The Trike Masters official logo is a Medieval Knight carrying a sword while resting his left leg on the ground and his right leg on a five-wheeled motorcycle. The design signifies valor, originality, and the past meeting the present, which is represented by the knight resting on the five-wheeled motorcycle
No one ever questioned the fact that the original "trike" in the club logo was actually a five-wheeler.
Our clubs goals and objectives are to promote safe motorcycling, bikers advocacy, and community involvement through charitable events.
Over the years Trike Masters has taken an active role in the community by collecting toys for underprivileged children during Christmas. We have a long standing relationship with the New Vista Nursing Home in Newark where we bring music and gifts to senior citizens every Mother's Day, Father's Day, and again at Christmas time.
In 2005 Trike Masters raised $5,480.00 which was donated to the American Red Cross' Hurricane Katrina Fund. In 2006 we again raised $5,000.00 which will be given in the form of scholarships to High school and college students.
Aside from our regular chub charity events we have also participaited in rides to
benefit little leagues, the March of Dimes, The Essex County 200 Club, Bikers Against Breast Cancer, retired firefighters and many , many other charities.
