Divergent boundaries--Where Earth formes new crust when plates separate.

Convergent boundaries--Where Earth destroys crust as one plate moves under another.

Transform boundaries--Where Earth's crust is not destroyes or formed when plates slide past eachother.

Plate boundary zone--Large areas in which boundaries are not well defined.

Divergent Boundaries

Divergent Boundaries happen when two plates seperate and magma flows out of the center of the Earth.  The magma cools and hardens which forms new crust.  When this happenes, it creates more land for the earth.

Convergent Boundaries

Convergent boundaries happen when one plate moves under another.  The gravity actually pulls the plate down into Earth's core.  Once it falls far enough, it will melt and become magma.

Transform Boundaries

Transform boundaries happen when two plate slide horrizontally past each other tearing Earth's surface.  Theese transform boundaries make huge trenches on Earth.  They can also happen in the ocean.  Actually, the deepest place on earth is in the ocean.
