We are a 9th grade group participating in the Lexus Eco-Challenge. Their website is http://www.scholastic.com/lexus/ We hope to plant one thousand or more trees in the Holladay-Cottonwood Heights area in Salt Lake County, Utah. If you wish to help the cause by donating money contact us at trees-r-us@live.com. We are getting the trees from http://www.ffsl.utah.gov/lonepeak/nursery/species.php You can browse the tree selection there. People release a lot of carbon monoxide into the air each and every day by driving cars, working machines, and even breathing! Trees clean the air and rid the atmosphere of carbon monoxide molecules. We have found that on average, if you plant 16 trees, one person is carbon neutral for a whole year. Are you carbon neutral? Thank you for visiting our site.
