We welcome you to TRCP Alliance.  This collective of Role Playing Games,Simulations,Fan Clubs,is an alliance of fellowship,friendship,creative writing and just good fun. 

While we do have some rules the main one is to enjoy and have fun.  We are not a place of mundane reporting to the Staff or reporting in weekly. 

What the Alliance is here for is to enjoy creative writing in many genres and to promote friendship and fun and the creative writing experience.

We also will have news letters among other things for members. 

Our academy is in place to help people who request assistance with writing,posting,character development and creative writing for their specific sim in general.

We are not about dictatorship.  We prefer goodwill to debate and we enjoy great communion with many friends.

I am pleased to announce that Birmingham, Alabama will be hosting the premiere of ImagiCon, a full-scale Science Fiction/Fantasy convention on March 27-29, 2009. Managed by professional event managers and staffed by experienced volunteers with decades of organizational experience at similar successful events in the Southeast, ImagiCon will offer a complete range of events and programming familiar to fans of the genres' arts and entertainment. ImagiCon is poised to introduce a whole new audience to the worlds that touch on Fantasy, Science fiction and the media that celebrate both! Birmingham hosted a similar event in March of 2008 which welcomed an estimated 5000 members for the area's first full-scale Con of this type, and given the enormous attendance the 2008 event generated in Birmingham, Alabama, our company ImagiCon LLC (unrelated to the previous event) recognized the opportunity to create a better and longer-lasting Science Fiction / Fantasy Convention in this prime market. Taking full advantage of a clean slate in Birmingham Tom Wood, ImagiCon chairman, hopes to offer entertainment options that have never been fully implemented by previous events. "The Con directors and staff are exploring diverse avenues of presenting and experiencing events and activities at a Science fiction and Fantasy conventions. As a first year event, we have a unique opportunity to serve a wide range of fandom and interests in creative and compelling ways.", says Wood. “An important part of the ImagiCon vision includes creating a ‘world of fandom, come to life’. Planners are exploring ways to foster and support random and planned interactions with patrons that will include drama, exploration and more”. The Sheraton Birmingham Hotel, Birmingham-Jefferson Civic Center and surroundings will be the site for a full weekend of exciting events and activities featuring: Appearances by celebrities from well-known shows and films from the Science Fiction and Fantasy genres. Popular authors from the Sci-fi, Fantasy and Horror genres On-Site Gaming tournaments (computer, console and RPGs) Hard Science/Historical panels and tracks with recognized authorities in their fields. Live Celtic, Folk and Alternative music and dance performance. A world-class Sci-Fi / Fantasy Art Exhibition and the ImagiCon Off-Shore Track screening genre film and video from Asia, UK and more. PLUS a variety of workshops and classes, costume contests and masquerades, Sci-Fi / Fantasy Fan Club gatherings (Star Wars, Stargate, Dr. Who, Star Trek, Firefly, Harry Potter. SCA etc.) and an exhibition hall full of vendors and exhibitors – the offerings are endless! ImagiCon has preliminary commitments from Best Buy/Geek Squad and Birmingham-based Books-A-Million to join the event as major sponsor partners. We have also secured the professional services of the same media consultant who generated unprecedented extensive news and local media coverage of Birmingham's similar event in 2008.
