Traditional stained glass workshops

Stained glass artist Anna Conti made a framed hanging panel for Dinton Lower School's anniversary.
Funded by the National Lottery, the window was made on site and was split into learning categories: art and music, environment, science and play.

The School's children were involved with the
whole traditional stained glass process which has   remained unchanged for centuries.
Thay saw glass cutting, leading, soldering and helped to 'cement' the window and clean it up.

the school. Complying with health and safety regulations, it is
sealed in a double glazed unit.

Mosaic workshops
Leighton Middle School students made stained glass mosaic mirrors in their after school club.
Each workshop lasted for 1.5hrs over a 5 week period.
