WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW:
Birthday party (B.P) run for 1.5 hrs only unless otherwise requested.
3 hour workshops can be organised daytime or evening.
6 hour workshops are expected to be morning and afternoon or afternoon and evening in the same day.

Traditional stained glass windows with Anna Conti.
HANGING AND FIXED PANELS.
Workshop lengths:1 day. 2 days.
Age:Adults and children (minimum age-11yrs).
Facilities needed: Table space. Power point.
Make your own genuine stained glass hanging panel or small window using techniques unchanged for years.
You will learn how to design, cut glass, 'lead up', solder and even install your panel if you would like to.
It will definitely be a topic of conversation, and will impress your friends!
6 hrs: Make a simple A4/A3 size abstract hanging panel. Design supplied.
Materials - £10 per item.
2 days: Design and make your own stained glass window or hanging panel. Don't worry if you're not 'artistic' as you can choose a design from your tutor. Approx. 30 x 30cms or based on similar measurements.
Materials - £15 per item.
Tools: All tools are supplied free of charge.
Workshops lengths: *1.5hrs B.P 3hrs & 1 day.
Age: Adults and children (7yrs+).

Glass mosaic, painting and etching is such fun for all ages. If the painting or etching doesn't come out as you had hoped, you can always rub it off and start again! With a wide range of glass items to decorate, your imagination can run riot!
*1.5hrs: Decorate a glass candle holder. Past ideas include: names, seaside, simple paterns, glass beads, abstract design and sunshine.
Materials - £1.50 per item.
OR: Have fun decorating your own glass item:ideas: tumbler/vase/wine glass/jam jar/bottle/plate.
Materials - £1-£1.50 per item depending on size.
3 hrs: Make a stained glass box from ready-cut stained glass squares and use paint, etching spray and glass beads or mosaic to decorate it. Your box could be used in the bathroom for soaps or candles or on your office desk for paper clips!

6 hrs: Learn how use the techniques of glass painting and etching amd mosaic to transform your household items such as mirrors, table tops and even windows! If you like what you see, try it in professional etching paste and make it permanent.
Material costs:Approx. £5 depending on item size.

Stained glass lightcatchers & copperfoil work with Anna Conti.
LIGHTCATCHERS, ANGELS and SMALL ITEMS.
Workshop lengths:*1.5hrs B.P. 3hrs & 1 day.
Age: Adults and children (11yrs minimum age).
Facilities: Table space. Power point.
Copperfoil is very versatile. It is used for making smaller items than traditional lead. Because it is so light, you can hang it on a suction cup in any window.
*1.5hrs: Make your own lightcatcher from an abundance of stained glass off cuts to hang in your window. It might be a little boat, an animal, your initial or abstract. You will be taught how to copperfoil and solder your creation finshing it off with a hook to hang it by. Some children will need an adult to solder their lightcatcher or need close supervision depending on their age.
Materials - £3 per item.
3hrs: You'll have long enough to make several lightcatchers or concentrate on a larger copperfoil window hanging using a variety of glass and even spun roundels. Glass cutting, copperfoiling and soldering in will be taught.
Materials - £3 - £5 depending on project.
6hrs: Make a lightcatcher, a simple copperfoil mirror or an angel...or several if you have the time!
Designing, glass cutting, copperfoiling and soldering will be taught. Don't worry if you're not sure about a design as the tutor has several you can choose from.

MOSAIC MIRRORS, CD COASTERS AND FLOWER POTS.
Workshops lengths: *1.5hrs B.P. 3hrs & 1 day.
Age: Adults & children (7yrs+)
Facilities: Table space.
You can mosaic so many surfaces! From small tiles to paved areas to table tops to kitchen walls .....if it doesn't move, you can mosaic it! Using glass and mosaic tiles, you will be taught which techniques to use when. Tremendous freedom - just let your imagination loose!
*1.5hrs: Make a CD coaster or your own small mirror using stained glass offcuts and ceramics.
Materials - CD coaster - £1.50 per item.
Mirror - £3 per item.
3hrs: Transform your own small flower pot to use in your home or garden or make a larger mirror.
Materials - Small flower pot - £1 if you bring your own, otherwise - £4.
Mosaic mirror - £4.
6hrs: Make both items in the 3hr workshop or go for a large mirror or large flower pot!.
Materials - as 3 hr workshop. Large mosaic mirror - £6.
Tools: Glass cutting tools are provided free of charge but you will need to bring a few household items with you unless you have booked a 1.5hr party.

STAINED GLASS MOSAIC WINDOWS AND GLASS TILES.
Workshop lengths: *1.5 hrs B.P. 3hrs & 1 day.
Age: Adults and children (7yrs+)
Facilities: Table space.
Layer stained glass pieces on top of clear and you will get a fascinating organic stained glass window without the restrictions of lead. These look great displayed on a plate stand backlit or on a window sill and if you wish, you can even install it! There is also a chance to learn taditional glass cutting techniques on the 3hr and 6 hr workshops.
*1.5hrs: Using stained glass off cuts, decorate a glass tile to make a small stained glass window or an exotic coaster or pot stand.
Materials - £2.
3hrs: You can choose to make 2 coasters from the 1.5hr workshop or make a mosaic window approximately A5
size. You will be able to make a simple picture or pattern and learn to cut specific shapes out in glass.
Materials - £4.
6 hrs: Again you can combine the 1.5hr and 3hr workshops for make coasters and/or a small window or really go for it and make a larger window or panel to install in your home. You will be able to be more creative with your design and learn to cut glass to make specific shapes.
