Wally the Wombat

Wally the Wombat was born in Wellington, Australia in 1994. He was stocked in a toy shop and placed on a shelf in Sydney and was bought by my father in 1995, and given to me, Zoe, as a valentine's day present. We lived in Sydney for six months when I was four, and we loved it there.

Oddly enough, Wally isn't the first traveling wombat. I really did think of it before I discovered that there is another traveling wombat,  so I don't feel like I'm 'copying' anyone else. It's just a way for Wally to feel more competitive while traveling Europe.
Mr Wombat has traveled the world taking photos of himself in front of famous places, and he's actually been everywhere. On his website, he claims that he is the world's only traveling wombat. This obviously is not true, but at least Wally has a role model. A father figure.
