Tralee Kennels

Welcome to Tralee Kennels, situated in Walpole, MA.  I have been involved with dogs for the past 16 years, starting in Junior Showmanship.  I was bit by the dog show bug while taking private obedience lessons with my first Boston Terrier.  My trainer told me about an upcoming match, so I went.  With myself and my dog not knowing what to expect, we went to have fun.  I ended up winning my Junior's class and took Best puppy in Breed.  That was it, I was hooked.  While in jr's, I went to work for Candy Carswell to learn more about presentaion and grooming.  After jr's I took a few years off for college and was handling occasionally while in school.  I have pointed and finished dogs in the Sporting, Non-Sporting, Working and Terrier groups.

I only take a few dogs every weekend to shows, generally not more than 6 including my own.  I like to be able to spend time with all of the dogs that I am showing, and by limiting the numbers I feel the dogs get more personalized attention.
