The Trail Horseman's Society was formed to promote horsemanship and provide opportunities for members to share facilities, knowledge, and the enjoyment of a mutual past-time. We are located near the beautiful City of Trail, in the West Kootenays of British Columbia, Canada. We are called the Trail Horseman's Society because of our location, not exclusively because of what we do with horses!
Our club has a variety of activites and facilities including a main arena which is used primarily for our western activities, a dressage arena, a jump arena, 32 covered stalls, 4 outdoor stalls and a round pen. Our facility is located near the Columbia River which many of our members enjoy on frequent trail rides.
Our membership includes pleasure riders, ropers, barrel racers, jumpers, dressage riders, back country horse people, drivers, gymcana riders, and 4 H members with their leaders, as well as many others. Overall, we are a group of very happy, sharing, and active horse people.
