Good Luck to you!
i know i'm super picky, but i'm also willing to try all sorts of new things 'cuz sometimes that's how i discover a new scent that i really love!
i'm not diabetic, i'm not vegan (i don't eat
pork, though, so don't send me any bacon. 'kay?) or vegetarian although i
generally only eat seafood & poultry. (so don't send me burgers, either.
please?)
my only known allergies are cats & stupid people, but i love our kitty & take
allergy meds so if your kitty sends love along with your package, it won't be a
problem (and love = fur)
tea & candy are nice extras that folks include, but the candy nearly always ends up oily or tasting of Lush or BPAL or whatever, and i've simply learned to not eat it. and i so rarely make single cups of hot tea, so i generally find myself passing the teabags along... so without sounding rude - i appreciate the gesture but i'd truly rather have a short handwritten note :)
a quick list of scents i'd truly rather avoid is:
anise, almond, cherry, baby powder, coconut, peppermint, lavender, gardenia,
jasmine, pepper.
there's more to the list, including things i love, like, tolerate and hate if
you scroll down....
i've bought scrubs several times, from several places, and i just don't use them.
my husband doesn't like finding glitter
everywhere, so i avoid sparkly, glittery bath products - if it can be socked, that's fine!
but glittery cosmetics
are love. :)
Lush:
i miss some of the older scents - Absolution, Wish Upon A Star, Silent White, Fuel, Damp Squid - sortof simple scents, compared to some of the others.
love the Ginger line, adore the Karma products, like Rockstar, enjoy HIWTK.
can't get enough of the fragrances of Temple of Truth, Green Day & 1000 Kisses
Deep (ok, that's B Never, but close enough)
BPAL notes that might
apply to other etailers:
as you may have guessed,
i like foody scents... buttercream, pumpkin, chai, sugar
and dirty scents... dirt, loam, moss, musk,
patchouli
certain spices...
nag champa (is it a spice?), clove, nutmeg
best of all are lilies & obscure flowers, "coffin's wood" (Teak), rosewood, tea,
ozone/crystal/glass/water, papyrus and "herbs"
do not want! : almonds or cherries, baby powder, mint (especially peppermint,
sometimes spearmint is okay), jasmine, ocean/sea/saltwater, gardenia, pepper,
grapefruit/cherries/plums/apricots/fruit in general or white coconut.
....and lavender is only okay in small doses.

additional notes: i love Pink Sugar, Buttercream, Witches Brew, sushi, lukewarm showers, Elvis and funny books (terry pratchett, jasper fforde, douglas adams)
my favourite colours are pink & black, i'm 31, have no children, got married earlier this year, and enjoy writing (and getting) letters.
i don't like Clinique's "Happy", Method's "Sweet Water", CK1, White Shoulders, BPAL's Snake Oil and most fragrances for men (which is okay, since i'm a girl).
