Eight Bowl Superspeedway 2008
Here's the complete update for one of my favorite super-speedway tracks
in NR2003. You guys should know by now that these are not just texture
updates, this is a full track with many improvements. The asphalt has
been changed (again), SAFER Barriers have been added, openings in the
inside walls for safety crews has been added, and much more. Extract
the "eight_bowl08" folder into your "tracks" folder. You'll need WinRAR
to unzip and enjoy. You can find additional screen shots in the forum.
The Gauntlet - NASCAR Version
Here's a nice superspeedway fictional for NR2003. The track was originally created by Ben Schmidt at BlazinPedals.com. His friend, robo19, gave the track to me, told me that he didn't have the time to dedicate to it, and said that I could finish the track graphically. I ended up creating two versions of the track, a BlazinPedals version and a NASCAR version. The Blazin Pedals version was released exclusively for the league races at BlazinPedals. On the other hand the NASCAR version was released for offline racers who want a different kind of superspeedway. You'll need WinRAR to unzip and enjoy. Louisiana Motor Speedway 2009
Here's the first scratch built track that I've ever made for NR2003 with the help of robo19 from nr2k3track.com. The track is an Indy shaped 1/2 mile long race track. The idea for this track came from this cardboard track model I made as little kid. It was good fun with all the die-cast cars back then, so I thought it would be great to bring to NR2003. Extract the "louisiana09" folder into your "tracks" folder. You'll need WinRAR to unzip and enjoy. As always, you can find additional screen shots in the forum.

Since it hasn't re-opened yet, I made my own update. There is also the "retrowalls" folder in the "mesa09" folder if you want red/white wall around the track like the original version. Just rename the "retrowalls" folder to "trackmat" to use the red/white walls. Extract the "mesa09" folder into your "tracks" folder. You'll need WinRAR to unzip and enjoy. Finally, the complete update for Nashville SS has been completed for NR2003. With the help of Jim Foose from BurninAsphalt.com everything from the new SAFER Barriers to the new logos around the track on the walls and in the grass has brought the 2009 track to reality for NR2003 racers. Extract the "nashvilleSS09" folder into your "tracks" folder. You'll need WinRAR to unzip and enjoy. You can find additional screen shots in the **new** forum.
Finally, the complete update for Nashville SS has been completed for NR2003. With the help of Jim Foose from BurninAsphalt.com everything from the new SAFER Barriers to the new shading and infield lighting bring the 2009 night track to reality for NR2003 racers. Along with the update in the 2007 version of this track, I've removed fencing, moved bilboards, moved grandstands, and as always, signage around the track is updated to 2009 standards.
