Insightful things...
What do you believe to be true, even
though you can't prove it? Most people are good, good triumphs over
evil.
What music do you listen to the most? Counting Crows.
What
type of housekeeper are you? I hate mess but I have the sneaking
suspicion that I am the one who causes most of it.
On a scale of
1-5 how organized are you? 4 - and it drives my family wild. We can't
go on holiday until I have ticked off everything on my list.
Name
a couple of T.V. shows you watch a lot. Heroes and Holby City
Do you have a junk drawer? What is in
it? All my drawers are junk drawers - bones, bits of string, wine
corks (used), magazine cut outs, bits of computer, stones from the
beach, tide worn wood etc, etc
Do people tell you that you act
older, younger, or your age? Younger (Thank God!)
Ever have an
imaginary friend as a child? Yes, but we used to argue all the time,
and I didn't always win!
Would you rather sit by a fire place or
hang out at a bon-fire? Bonfire - there is something reaffirming
about a bonfire on a cold dark night, and is easy to see how pagans
could celebrate at Halloween
What is your drink of choice? Full
bodied oak aged red wine, lager on a hot summer day (yes we do get
them sometimes in Scotland)
What's your definition of cheating? Beating me.

original fittings. We are only the third family to live in it.

Insightful stuff
What is the last book you read? Bravemouth by Pamela Stephenson. Living with Billy Connolly. There is something enigmatic about this man and no matter how many times I watch his DVD’s or see his shows, or read about him, he makes me smile or laugh. Maybe it’s to do with the fact that he just speaks his mind, “with not a jot” about whether it offends or pleases, he is after all just a person, who “gets paid vast amounts of money for just being me”. Billy also paints and is an avid art collector, so cannot be all that bad in my opinion. What was the last thing you dreamed about? That is easy – drowning – I have sleep apnoea and stop breathing and my body tells me to gasp for air and my mind envisages me drowning and trying to reach the surface to breathe – happens every night – but I am grateful that I am a strong swimmer in my dreams. What’s your favourite invention? It would have to be the internet. For something so virtual, I have found my soul mate, sold my art, made many friends and gained a heap of knowledge which would never have been accessible in the real world. Is your room messy? Nope – I am a tidy person by nature and so my room is kept tidy. It is also very small – nightmare to paint my large paintings in, so usually everything gets hauled into the living room, big sheet thrown on the floor and I paint in there. My painting equipment is stored in plastic drawers on wheels, so that they can be moved in and out easily. I try and keep it all tidy so that setting up and finishing off can be done quickly and then I can just shut the door on it at the end of each day and go about my normal life
What do you plan on doing
tomorrow? As
it’s a Sunday, I will have a lie in, big breakfast, go to gym in the
early afternoon, prepare a roast dinner, eat it then snuggle up with my fella
for an evening in front of the TV with a DVD – It’s my one day
where I just veg and do my own thing. The gym is good for me as I just lose
myself in my tunes on my MP3 and jig along to some loud music for a couple of
hours and it’s completely my time. What's your favorite day of the
week and why? It
used to be Friday, when I did the ‘proper job’ and was really just
wishing my life away, but now it is Monday, new start to the week, lots to look
forward to and my day for planning and starting new things, finishing off
things from the previous week and just getting on with things things. Name three things in the world
you dislike: Dishonesty,
Violence and Greed What do you want to know about
the future? That
there is one. What did you do 3 nights ago? Celebrated
my fella’s birthday with a nice meal, candlelight and champagne Are you thinking about somebody
right now? Who? My
sons and grandsons back in the UK.
Always think about them and what they are doing and are they all right and
happy. Miss them lots. Do you dye your hair? Yes
– have done since my teens when it was all bright colours and these days
to blend the grey away. Favourite physical feature of
the preferred sex? Neat
rounded bottom filling out a tight pair of jeans.
