Nyx

From Khaos (Air) Nyx was born andbecame the Goddess of night. She is one of the ancient Protogenoi (first born elemental gods). Breeding with her brother Erebos (Darkness) they produced Aither (Light) and Hemera (Day). Alone she spawned a brood of dark spirits, including Sleep, Death, Strife and Pain. Said to be the subduer of gods and men, Zeus himself stood in awe of her. Her residence is in the darkness of Hades.
