FUTURE PROJECTS
With no permanent building or facility, it is difficult enough to maintain the projects that are already running, but the academy hopes to eventually expand to other projects and sports, in order to be able to reach a larger group of youth in the Town Two, and greater Khayelitsha area. These will only begin to become possible after a permanent building is obtained.
OTHER SPORTS
Town Two Sports Academy hopes to eventually expand to other sports such as soccer, basketball, cricket, rugby, and any other sport that the youth of the area might find interest in.
OTHER PROGRAMS
The academy recognizes that every young person does not find identity and interest in sport. We hope, therefore, to expand to other programs that will allow us to reach and support those particular youth around the community.
Some of these programs will consist of music, art, and drama. The academy also plans on offering daily and consistent help with the school work of the youth of the community, and specifically the ones that are involves in the other programs of the academy.
The academy also hopes to offer social support structures for both the youth and the parents of the community. Some examples of these would be: parenting skills, AIDs awareness, tutoring programs for adults that seek to finish their education where previous situations did not allow for it, community uplifting (street sweeping, tree planting, etc.) and other programs for needs that arise.
