It's a word made up to describe the mostly trivial but sometimes important natural and created geographical features of our interesting world.
This page contains a series of pdf files created from the weekly e-mails sent out over a few years. One day I'll convert them to html as I've already done on my The World's Enclaves and The Australian Empire websites.
There is not much order here - I just wrote and compiled it as I thought of it. Should have spent more time to properly acknowledge the sources of the maps and photos.

Antipodes are those places exactly the opposite side of the globe according to latitude and longitude. In other words, the place that is the absolute furthest from where you are standing.
