Alresford continue to set the pace in the White League, but they had to battle for victories over Littleton Leopards and Hamble. The losers did get compensation as both grabbed the points against AFC Hiltingbury Blue. Oakwood Tigers drew both their matches against the other Tigers from Bashley and Granley Rovers Red, S & D did slightly better against the same opposition, drawing with Granley but sneaking past Bashley by the only goal of the game scored by Logan Lintott. A Matt Smith hat-trick saw St Francis Rangers run out 6-0 winners over Winchester Hawks, who had to go back home up the M3 pointless after also losing out to the odd goal to Tadburn Cougars. Alresford suffered a similar fate to BA Juniors by also losing their 100% record, dropping their first point against Warsash Wasps and then losing to the only goal of the game against Totton Rangers Blue, Ryan Warren grabbing the Totton goal. Spare a thought for poor AFC Hiltingbury Blue who had to face the two teams that did so well against Alresford. Totton knocked in seven without reply, with hat-tricks coming from Ryan Warren and Tom Darling, they then lost after a recount by ten clear goals to Warsash Wasps for whom Billy Shiner shone with five and Owen Kew weighed in with three. St Francis Rangers manager Mark Simpkin raced back from his holiday for todays game and it was a trip worth making as the Rangers picked up maximum points, mauling Oakwood Tigers by six without reply (Jake Simpkin and Pat Smith both grabbing a brace), and then lowering the colours of S & D by 2-0, Jake Simpkin being once again on target. It was also a good day for Wyvern Saints in the Whit League as they won their encounters with Littleton Leopards and Hamble by three and four goals respectively whilst keeping clean sheets in both games. Tadburn Cougars proved their cup victory over table topping Alresford was no fluke as they really rubbed the salt in with a 6-0 thumping on this occasion, clearly stating their own ambitions for the title. Elliot Mitchell-Lee grabbed a hat-trick for the Cougars and followed it up with a brace in their second match of the day, a 5-0 victory over AFC Hiltingbury Blue. Things went from bad to worse for Alresford as fellow title contenders St Francis Rangers raced into a 30 second lead against the shell-shocked ‘ford. Just when it looked like they were about to go home pointless, Julian Cooks country boys staged a remarkable late rally to steal both points from the Rangers and keep thing interesting at the top of the White League. St Francis kept in touch at the top thanks to a seven goal mauling of bottom placed AFC Hiltingbury Blue, Matthew Smith contributing a hat-trick. Totton Rangers Blue with Ryan Warren hitting in 4 goals picked up two wins with victories over Bashley Tigers and Granley Rovers Red, the Reds did get some compensation though, with a narrow victory over Warsash Wasps Red, who then followed suit, scoring three without reply against Bashley Tigers.Winchester Hawks continue their improvement grabbing two victories courtesy of a pair of hat-tricks from Ben Cawston. Their victims S & D and Oakwood Tigers suffered similar fates against Wyvern Saints for whom Ben Lucas grabbed four and Tom Bowden notched a brace in each match. |

Tadburn Cougars recorded two more victories to keep them in pole position at the top of the White League, Elliot Mitchell-Lee grabbing a brace in both victories over Littleton Leopards and Hamble. St Francis Rangers also came up against the Leopards and Hamble. It took a James Worley strike with 4 seconds to go to give the Rangers the narrowest of victories over Hamble, whilst the Leopards caved in against them leaking ten without reply, Jake Simpkin (5) and Matt Smith (4) on target for the Rangers. Close up behind the leaders, Wyvern Saints also picked up maximum points scoring four in each of their games against Granley Rovers Red and Bashley Tigers. Tom Bowden was the Saints star with five of their eight goals. Winchester Hawks had a mixed day against the same opposition, beating the Tigers 4-1 thanks to a Ben Cawston hat-trick but somewhat surprisingly coming out second best against Granley for whom Matthew Hayter put away the only goal of the game. The early kick off matches in the White League were all closely fought affairs with Totton Rangers Blue and Warsash Wasps Red both picking up maximum points against S & D and Oakwood Tigers. |

Honours this week in the White League must surely go to AFC Hiltingbury Blue who not only picked up their first win, beating Oakwood Tigers by the only goal of the game, but also managed a 1-1 draw against S & D for whom Samuel Jones scored at both ends. Alresford got back into winning ways, beating Oakwood Tigers 1-0 and S & D 2-0, Jimmy Hawkins scoring in both games. In the top match of the day in the White League, Wyvern Saints moved into top spot thanks to Tom Bowden’s four goals in a thrilling 5-3 victory over fourth placed Totton Rangers Blue, who went on to get some compensation by beating Winchester Hawks 2-0. Warsash Wasps Red eased out Winchester Hawks 3-0 before gaining a hard fought draw against new league leaders, Wyvern Saints, Owen Kew grabbing a brace for the Wasps. Hamble seemed to benefit from the break as they recorded their first back to back victories of the season , beating Granley Rovers Red 2-0 and then Bashley Tigers 3-1, Connor West netting two against the Tigers. In the battle of the cats Littleton Leopards beat the Tigers by the only goal of the game from Stan Wyatt. The Leopards then went on to a 1-1 draw with Granley. |

Things are getting interesting at the top of the White League with leaders Wyvern Saints going down 1-0 to St Francis Rangers before bouncing back with a 6-0 drubbing of Tadburn Cougars. St Francis improved their own title chances by picking up further points in their 6-0 victory over Winchester Hawks, Matt Smith grabbing a hat-trick. It was not second placed Tadburn’s day however with a further point dropped against the Hawks in a 1-1 draw. Alresford also put themselves back into the picture with victories over Hamble and Littleton Leopards. Both losers did however take the points home in their other encounters with AFC Hiltingbury Blue. Bashley Tigers at long last had a double victory to celebrate with wins over the other Tigers from Oakwood and S & D. Granley Rovers Red also sunk the Oakwood Tigers before going on to a 1-1 draw with S & D. Totton Rangers Blue although with no games this week remain comfortably in 5th. |

Title contenders St Francis Rangers and Tadburn Cougars both picked up maximum points with wins over AFC Hiltingbury Blue and Alresford Town. The Rangers sunk Hiltingbury 10-0 with hat-tricks coming from Sean Burke and Sean Walters. They then dispensed with Alresford, scoring four without reply, Jake Simpkins grabbing three. The Cougars had Elliot Mitchell-Lee to thank for their double win, Elliot grabbing both goals in the 2-0 win over Alresford and then adding another brace in the 6-0 defeat of Hiltingbury. Granley Rovers Red turned in two fighting displays to gain draws against both Warsash Wasps Red and Totton Rangers Blue. The Wasps recovered to put four past Bashley Tigers without reply, Bradley Thomas netting a brace. The Tigers did however hold Totton to a draw ensuring they did not go home empty handed. Wyvern Saints consolidated their position at the top of the White leagues, beating S & D 3-0 before thrashing the Tigers from Oakwood by 8-1, Ben Lucas netting four supported by braces from Tom Bowden and Jarred Parker. Winchester Hawks also beat S & D, the score being 3=1. |

Wyvern Saints found Alresford a difficult nut to crack in the White League and had to settle for a point in a goal-less encounter. They did find their shooting boots in their following game against AFC Hiltingbury Blue, Tom Bowden and Ben Lucas putting away hat-tricks in their 7-0 win. Winchester Hawks also gave Hiltingbury a hard time, Ben Cawston grabbing four in a 6-0 win. The Hawks were then themselves on the losing end of a 3-0 scoreline against Alresford, Francesca Thornton emerging the heroine with a brace. Jake Simpkin grabbed another hat-trick in St Francis Rangers facile 9-1 victory over Bashley Tigers, the Rangers kept up their title challenge with a second win, this time scoring just four without reply against Granley Rovers Red. Fellow high flyers Tadburn Cougars also registered wins against Bashley and Granley, Elliot Mitchell-Lee notching a hat-trick in the Granley game. A Lewis Thomson brace for Warsash Wasps Red was enough to see off Littleton Leopards who did pick up a point in their second match, drawing 1-1 with Totton Rangers Blue. Totton also shared the points with Hamble, who then went on to secure another draw in a goal-less encounter in the local derby with Warsash. |

It was a good day for Warsash Wasps who picked up maximum points thanks to wins over S & D and Oakwood Tigers, Bradley Thomas netting a hat-trick in the 3-0 win over S &D. It was mixed fortunes for Totton Rangers Blue however against the same opposition, a Sean Wilson brace sunk them against the Tigers, but they recovered to record a 3-0 win over S & D. Bashley Tigers came out second best in their matches, losing out narrowly to Winchester Hawks before being hit for five without reply against Wyvern Saints for whom Tom Bowden scored a hat-trick. Winchester also secured a 3-2 win over Granley Rovers Red, whilst Wyvern put away four without reply against the same opposition, Ben Lucas scoring a double. Hamble had the daunting task of facing high flyers St Francis Rangers and Tadburn Cougars but they did manager Don Ross proud by holding St Francis to a 2-2 draw and narrowly losing to Tadburn 3-2. St Francis beat Littleton Leopards 2-0, whilst Tadburn put five passed the Leopards without reply, Elliot Mitchell-Lee scoring two for the Cougars. |

Wyvern Saints remain at the head of affairs in the White League thanks to convincing victories over Winchester Hawks. In the first match Tom Bowden netted five in the 9-1 victory, whilst in the second game he netted a brace to help secure a 5-0 win. Lewis Passmore and Max Hyde also scored in both games for the Saints. Wyvern will be looking nervously over their shoulder at St Francis Rangers, who, in the top double header of the day picked up three valuable points over fellow contenders Tadburn Cougars. The first match ended all square at 1-1 whilst a late goal earned the Rangers a 2-1 win in the second match. Alresford kept AFC Hiltingbury Blue firmly entrenched at the bottom with 5-0 and 3-0 victories, Jimmy Hawkins putting away two goals in each win. It was also a good day for Granley Rovers Red who recorded a double victory over Bashley Tigers. In the 5-1 victory Charlie Gwyn netted a pair and then added a further goal in the second match which ended in a 3-0 victory. Gregor McKenzie and George Bush also scored in both matches. Littleton Leopards picked up three points in their tightly fought encounter with Hamble, a 1-1 draw followed by a 1-0 victory securing the points. It was also a good day for Oakwood Tigers who recorded 1-0 and 3-0 wins over S & D, Jake Hennen scoring in both games for the Tigers. It was a good day all round for Warsash as the Wasps Red side scored impressive 4-0 and 3-0 victories over Totton Rangers Blue. |

St Francis Rovers go to the top of the White League on goal difference but they did drop a point in their goal-less encounter with Warsash Wasps Red before scoring four without reply against Totton Rangers Blue, James Worley and Matt Smith each grabbing a brace. Tadburn Cougars closed to within one point of the leading pair following their victories over Totton and Warsash. It was a good day for Alresford who racked up wins against Bashley Tigers and Granley Rovers Red. Jimmy Hawkins grabbed three in the 3-1 win over Bashley and Lewis Butler went one better in the 5-0 win over Granley. Littleton Leopards recorded two 2-1 wins over Oakwood Tigers and S & D, Stan Wyatt being on target twice in the encounter with S & D. Hamble did not do as well against the same opposition, losing 2-0 to S & D and 3-1 to Oakwood. Congratulations go to AFC Hiltingbury Blue who doubled their points tally following their narrow victory over Granley and their draw with Bashley Tigers. |
