Elisha walked over ot the phone adn let it ring. "Hello." "Hey Jen it's me." "ELISHA, I though you forgot about me. I haven't heard from you since you left." "Yeah I know, we've been so busy. There is much I have to tell you. But I was just calling you to tell you to have fun at teh dance and not to do anything I wouldn't." *lauhging "Yeah right. I'm just sad your not going to be there with me." "Hey, you got Kevin, and I got this contract that we will be signing soon, I hope. Well look I gotta run I'll try to call you sometime later, ok." "Ok. I'll be here until June." "Yeah I know. Bye." "Bye." Elisha placed the phone back and sighed and walked out of the kitchen.

Neron headed out to the garden to find Elisha, Matt was looking for her but to lazy to go find her. As he approched he could see the longing face she was sporting and slowly walked over to were she was sitting, looking at the small pond as lillies floated by.

"Mind if I sit?" Neron asked looking at the couch and not Elisha. She looked up then motioned for him to sit, scooting over a bit to give him some room.

Neron looked aver at Elisha who was more quite than normal. "What's up with you?" Elisha sighed, "Nothing, really. *pushing a strand of hair out of her face* It's just today is the Srping Formal. Not that I was looking foward to going, but I wanted to be there for Jen you know. And to keep an eye on that creep Kevin." She then slunched back onto the over stuffed pillows and sighed again. Neron leaned back as well now looking up at the top of the canopy that provided wonderful shade from the heat of the California sun. "So what, you don't trust her?" "Yeah I trust her. It's HIM I don't trust. I mean no offense but guys like you and Matt *nudging Neron in his side* that I don't trust. And Kevin makes you all seem tame." "HA! Guys like me, what's that supposed to mean?" Neron questioned studying Elisha's eyes. "You know what I mean. You men-whores you *both laughing* I just want to make sure she's ok. And I know that Bitch Cassandra is going to try something as well." "Well you called her, and theres not much more you can do. You are across the country. And you know what, everyone has to grow up on their own. If their friends like it or not. We all live, learn and grow." There was silence between the two for a moment.

"Yeah I supose your right. Hmmm, wisdom coming from you, that's a handful." Elisha joked again getting Neron to smile. "That's two smiles in a row, what's that a new world record." Neron said. Elisha begain to blush. "NO *lauhging* I just liking seeing you smile every now and again." She turned to look at some butterfies flying over a bush or roses. "This garden is lovely. I think if we hit it big, and I buy a house. I want a garden just like this." She said smiling watching a bird come to rest on the little pond.

They sat in the garden in silence again. Neron was suddenly over come with the urgent need to kiss Elisha, and before he could stop himself, he found his lips locked around hers. Elisha was taken by surpise, but she didn't pull away from his embrace. Their lips fussed together and became one, and for a moment it was as if time itself had stopped. But as quickly as it had started Elisha brough it to a hult. She jumped up off the couch not looking at Neron "I..I..I'm sorry I can't do this." and she ran into the house. Neron didn't run after her cause he was just as confused as she was.

Pattie was excited the night before she and Maxi were to leave for LA. She had packed all her things and dubled checked before going to bed.

The next morning Max and Dee said their goodbyes. Dee would be moving while Max was in LA, and whould only see her at school.
