Elisha got home from the club and made a salad. Her dad was finishing up the dishes from dinner and let her eat in peace. "Good night Lisa." He said walking out of the kitchen. 'Night dad." Elisha then returned to her salad and her thoughts. |

Jen got in from the club and took a nice long relaxing shower. She had a long and boring day ahead of her tomorrow. She had to pack and get her last mintute things in order before she headed off to camp. |

"Whats wrong hon?" Elisha's mom questioned her daughter. "What makes you ask whats wrong?" Elisha said arching her left eye brow and looking at her mom. "Well first off you have this ho dee hum look on your face. You rushed out of here with Jen like a bat out of hell. And you just don't seem yourself lately." Elisha looked back over at the fish and sighed, she scratched her head then lookd out the window. |

"So I'm guessing it's a mystery man that has you all in knots." "No, kinda sorta, I guess. It's so complicated mom." Elisha started to say. "Well hon, life is complicated, and you are just now getting out into the world. You'r just getting a peek at what's next to come." |

Elisha laid her head down on the couch and her mom slid down beside her placing her feet in her lap. "Mommy." Elisha said reminding her of how she used to call her that when she was little. "How do you know when you've found someone that you might want to be with?" "You don't...it's not like bells that go off, or a arrow appears over that person's head. Just if everything is right it will happen, even if you try to fight it. Take your father for example. He tried his best in 9th grade to get my attetion, but I wouldn't give the poor fool the time of day. So for valentines day he sent me a single red rose, with a poem attached to it." Elisha glaced over at her mom, "And what did you do?" "Well I thanked him for the rose and the poem, and then I asked him on a date. And its been history ever since." "But how did you know he was sincere in his feelings for you?" Ruby looked over at Elisha and leading over stroking her daughter's head. "Because sweetie, a boy doesn't devout all his affection to a girl who he knows he'll get no were with unless he's crazy about her. Even if she pushes him away, he will still try." "Thanks mom." Elisha said she stood up and kissed her mom. "Good night." Ruby watched her walked to her room and smiled. |

Daina looked up from her book, "Who was that dear?" Jeff walked over to stand in front of his wife. "That was Col. Stanckept, he informed me that we are going to be deployed to Iraq." Diana eyes widened with shock, "Iraq, when? Why? I though we handed over sovereignty a few weeks ago." Jeff took a deep breath in, "Yes, but we are still going to keep occupation for a while longer. So our unit will be shipped out in 4 days." He said holding up four fingers. |

Jeff could see the tears that formed in his wife's eyes, and danced at their rims threating to fall. He took her into a hug. "Everything will be all right. Nothing will happen to my while I'm there." Diana only nodded her head as the tears started to flow. "I'll tell Jen over breakfast." Jeff said, as they head off to bed. |

Daina sliped out of bed after Jeff fell asleep. She couldn't relax and took a hot bath, wiht some lavender oil added. |
