My Journey as a writer

First off I'd like to introduce myself. My name is Vickie and my pen name is Tory Lynn. Having a pen name for my romance novel was something I've always wanted. I realize many people use their real name and I may do that with future books. I'll have to see about that when the time comes. I've wanted to be an author for as long as I could remember. When I was growing up, people used to ask me what I wanted to do, and I told them I wanted to be a published author. I grew up writing short stories and poetry. At the time, it was a way of expressing my feelings --writing just felt right. I have always loved romance and have wanted to write in that genre forever. Someday I may venture in other areas, ideas are always in my mind just waiting to be written out on paper for all to see. My family has supported me in my writing and I couldn't have gotten where I am at without them. They have always beleived in me and it makes it nice to have that kind of support behind you... As I get to know other authors on the message boards, I am equally as thankful for each and everyone of them. They have taught me, and are still teaching me what I need to know to go further in my career as a writer. Thank you PA authors...
