As it inspires to be a published book as well as a movie, this is the first website to showcase it with illustrations in the style of my visions for it as a film.
Here you can find information about its status, what I've been doing it for it besides the writing, and details that I can't share at its home on fanfiction.net (like profiles, illustrations, soundtrack, etc).

Good news, everyone! (Whenever I say that, I hear Professor Farnsworth. How about you?)
Clearly I spent a lot of time off the project, for personal reasons and being uninspired, but I tend to get uninspired when I don't have a lot of direction. It happened with HT, and I was confused and worried that I wasn't writing a good story anymore. However, I did spend the year doing a lot of thinking - the Phantom is sort of a muse of mine - and development happened even though I wasn't writing. Finally, I sat down, did lots of planning and reconstruction, I read The Phantom of the Opera twice, got way inspired, and now I'm working on chapters again. It's important for you to know that I got rid of chapters 40-42 and started over from chapter 39. I've posted the new chapter 40 on ff.net and I'm working on chapter 41. Eventually I'll have them on this site, but I like to make sure the copies here are concrete, whereas the ones on ff.net could be edited based on feedback or me realizing a mistake. :)

Anyway, the other news: the art contest for He's There and the Crystal Palace series was held and ended last month and I have some entries in the illustrations section, as well as a new fanart, and a new illustration. I'm really happy about all the new art. :) Please go see, and check out the artists! They're all linked.

I swear to God. I'm still trying to get my shit together, but I absolutely will write this summer, whether it's hard for me or not.

Good News // A P R I L   9  ,  2 0 1 1
You may have been wondering where the fuck I went and what happened to this story. I wasn't able to really update the site because I lost my webpage-editing software, but thanks to KickAssTorrents.com, I'm back in business. So I've gone through the pages and made sure that they're up to date. Unfortunately, all I could really add were some new songs and one new drawing, which I did for the pending Chapter 43. I also put up the chapters that've long since been on FF.net, but not here. As far as the soundtrack songs go, check them out if you can! I have fallen in love with My Brightest Diamond. The songs from them that I've added to the HT soundtrack have been such wonderful representations of my thoughts when I write it, and it's been a real inspiration even though I haven't been writing.

Before I end the update, I'd like to make it clear to whoever reads and is following this site -- the story is NOT going to be abandoned. Not now, not ever. Though sometimes I may be gone a while (I've spent as long as a year on hiatus once ._.) I'm dead serious about finishing He's There and working to publish it. So please bear with me. I was hoping to finish it this year. There are 18 more chapters planned. When I'm ready to come back, I'll start posting them. And things will get intense. :)

Hi readers. So~ if you follow me at my writing journal, or on ff.net, you know that I'm still working on this story! (and doing a little drawing) But I'm going to have a little bit of a problem updating this site when it comes to chapters. See, I made my pages with Microsoft Frontpage, with a desktop computer we no longer have, so now I have this shitty Open Office web-editor on my laptop that isn't letting me do everything I want. I can still post stuff like this, and illustrations, but until I figure this out I can't update the story section. I'm up to chapter 39, working on 40 right now, so if you want those updates but have been reading the story solely here, I would suggest going to ff.net, which is linked in the menu above. ↑

Further Updates // A P R I L   1 5  ,  2 0 1 0
Hi everyone. Some may have noticed that my updates have been a little slow. Once every 2 weeks, or once every month, and it will probably continue on that way, but I'm trying to find the time and stop lollygagging. I'm not confused about the plot, I'm not disinterested, and I'm not going on hiatus, but my schedule has just really distracted me lately. I'm also addicted to watching House. (lol) I also have a couple other stories that I'm working on, even though they aren't quite as important.

But yes, I'm still around, I'm going slow, I apologize, hopefully that changes.

Website Completion -> More Chapters // J A N U A R Y  6  ,  2 0 1 0
I thought it seemed only appropriate to update here since I just changed the whole site. So glad to have a new layout up, featuring the drawings I did. The story was long overdue for illustrations and more information, so I hope this is everything you'd want in a website for something like this. It took me about a month to finish it, and it cut in to my writing time, but now I have the ability to update weekly again. May the inspiration stay with me!

Coming Back from Long Break // A U G U S T   4  ,  2 0 0 9
I think I've spent enough time working on other stories, and I'm kind of directionless, so I decided it's probably time to come back from hiatus. I'm still not completely sure yet, but I'll at least take out the notes and start working on the plot, because it definitely needs some improvement if I'm going to be inspired to nearly finish it by the end of this year. I'm hoping plans follow through, though, HT is a really exciting project when it swallows you whole. I wouldn't mind that happening to me again.

So here is my message of hope, and I'm shooting for September. Have a lovely rest of summer and hopefully your Phantom flame hasn't flickered out just yet.

Hiatus  // D E C E M B E R   4  ,  2 0 0 8
Sticking to my seasonal agenda, it's time to put HT on another hiatus. Believe me, if anybody's guilty about this, it's me, although I shouldn't be, because although HT is going successfully and is my longest story, all my other ones deserve a little priority every now and then. 

This Fall season, I completed 5 chapters and 36 pages. It's not a hell of a lot, but it could have been worse. I put some of the fault on the fact that TWICE this season, my laptop has needed fixing and I have been without it for weeks at a time. It's total bullshit. Don't buy a Gateway. Their fans burn up quickly and their service is slow as molasses.  

Anyway, it's true I didn't dig in deep, but the chapter that would have come afterwards is supposed to be the start of something. I figured that it would be pointless to finish it because then I would no longer be on the high of writing it for the following parts. Sadly, I do not know what to tell you as far as when I will be coming back. HT has sort of been pushing my other stories around and I'm ready to take them on first at this point. On the bright side, I'm hoping to do the occasional artwork and the photoshoot is still totally possible. That layout idea hasn't slipped my mind.

This winter, I will be dedicated to Wooden Light & Huggle the Puppet, so stop by if you want to discover some more stuff of mine.

Back!  // A U G U S T   2 4  ,  2 0 0 8
Returning on September 1st with chapter 19. Hoping to get this plot dug in deep. There may be a delay, unfortunately. I've got my laptop in the shop again. It had a document with my plot concepts. The other, and bigger, problem is that the family computer is way too inconvenient and uncomfortable to be sitting down at to write an entire chapter that needs my full attention. I expect to get my laptop back in a week. Maybe less. I will scramble to get my thoughts together and have writing done as soon as possible, though.

I liked the old layout, but it wasn't good enough to stop me when I suddenly felt like making a new one. I'm still not sure why I did it. XD I'm still likely going to make a new one when I have a good enough photo from the shoot. Speaking of the photoshoot, it hasn't been done yet. Our planned date didn't work out for a single one of us and we've since been too lazy to reschedule. I'm trying to work out the smaller one I have with Madame Giry, we're just looking for a setting.

As long as I'm here, I think I'll mention that I've been thinking and planning some more. I can tell that by September I'll be ready to return and write like mad, as I did before. Thanks for reading~ --Bow
