giant african land snails.
i have many young giant african land snails and are willing to lend them to primary and early years settings as part of their knowledge and understanding of the world and science. i have very little ones which grow very quick so over a period of time when feed regularly by pupils could be measured ,recorded and see if they have grown by measuring their shells. i have workd within primary and early years settings and know that it is not the right place for many small animals but these are easy to care for and then can be handed back to us once you have had them for your period of time. you can borrow some of our giant african land snails for a small contribution for the up keep of our other snails.
the snails will come in a plastic tank, with cuttle fish, spray gun and a small supply of fresh foods.

Surbiton Pet Club
Houseproud and busy parents could be to blame for dwindling numbers at Surbiton Pet Club.
The club, which in 1970 had more than 1,000 members, today has only 60 members and is appealing for new blood to stop it from closing. Lack of time and an increase in family holidays puts many off owning a pet.
The next show will take place at the Surbiton Pet Club House, in Stirling Walk, Surbiton, on Saturday, about June time, between 1pm and 6pm and costs 50p per entry. It costs £3 per family per year to join.
