Pokemon Diamond and Pearl comes out April 22, 2007, hey! That's tomorrow! Pokemon Fans all over America have been waiting for this day for a long time. Soon there will be 493 known Pokemon! Get ready to use all of the new features that this new adventure through Sinnoh offers! It topped the Japanese Best Selling Game list and will it conquer America too? With over 533,000 Pre-Orders already, this game is predicted to be the best of 2007! The Nintendo Store in New York will be celebrating as well with a fun event for all ages tomorrow! Younger fans can watch movies while the gamers do their stuff on the new games! They'll be a live webcast of the event from 1pm to 5pm! Be sure to tune in if you can't get to the actual event! Have fun with your games, I'll be with mine and later give you my reviews of the game!

Torchic23's State Championship results!
This weekend, one of our staff members, Torchic23, competed in the Pokemon TCG State Championships! Shadow went and observed and interviewed a few of the trainers. This was Torchic's first ever TCG tournament, there was some tough competetion! In the first round, there were 5 different games, this is how Torchic's five games went:
Game 1: Lose
Game 2: Lose
Game 3: Lose
Game 4: Win
Game 5: Lose
Being a beginner, Torchic23 didn't have too much of a chance, but most of her games she almost won! While there, Torchic23 got a few items which she plans to share with this website. She bought a few card decks, as well as a card deck box with a Charizard on it! One of the best things Torchic23 got was the Spring 2006 issue of Pokemon Fan which revealed quite a few things for American Pokemon fans. We're currently working on scanning some of the pages for this site, so you have that to look forward to!
During the course of Torchic's battles, there were a few raffles [Torchic23 didn't win any] For the minor prizes, they gave out 18 booster packs of Legend Maker! The big prize was the Pokemon Ipod! We didn't get a good look at it, but we were sure that it had pokemon on it!
We met a few inspiring trainers there, new and experienced. They all had different stratgies and cool decks! There was a lot of kindness through all the battling. A few of the card pack raffle winners gave a few of their cards to other kids who didn't win anything. We carefully watched battles and got a few good tips!
One kid told us, "These days, decks should have at least 15 trainer cards" Another said, "If you don't win here, keep on practicing, that's how I became so good today"
Torchic23's deck consisted of many fire and grass types, which brought her to the deck name "Fire Forest" If you don't already know how to play the Pokemon TCG game, learn now! Going to leagues and tournaments can earn you friends, experience, cool prizes, money, and much more! If you need to learn how to play, we'd suggest you visit www.pokemontcg.com!
Although Torchic23 lost, she still had a big grin on her face and said, "I can't wait until the next tournament!" She promised to practice more and come back for more tournaments!

Some great news for the anime page!
I'm pleased to annouce that we'll have a picture for every episode that has a full guide! I know there's not many yet, but we're working on it! In fact, by tonight, the episode "Now that's Flower Power" will have a complete guide and possibly a few others. We're still looking for a guide writer! E-mail us if you're interested!

Happy Birthday Pokemon!
Today is Pokemon's 10th birthday!!! On this very day 10 years ago, Pokemon Green and Pokemon Red was put in the stores of Japan. Since that day pokemon has made it to many countries with many fan bases. Pokemon isn't as popular today as it was 10 years ago, but fans everywhere are still celebrating. Let's have a look at the timeline
1996
Pokemon Red and Pokemon Green is released in Japan, the two games that started it all
1997
Pokemon anime is made. A young boy named Ash Ketchum receives his first pokemon, a Pikachu and together they set out to collect friends, badge, and experience as Ash tries to become a pokemon master
1998
Pokemon comes to America along with Red Version, because Green Version never made it. These games started a pokemon revolution
1999
The pokemon trading card game is now in America as well, the first set made by Wizards of the Coast is Base Set, and Pokemon the First Movie comes out
2000
Pokemon Gold and Silver are now in America! It has better graphics and more features!
2001
Pokemon Crystal follows the previous games with even better graphics! The Pokemon Center store is now in New York!
2002
A whole new generation of Pokemon called Pokemon Advanced is out! This is the year for pokemon!! New games, new kind of show, new toys!
2003
Pokemon Ruby and Sapphire are released wih full color graphics! Also the first set of Hoenn pokemon cards were released. Pokemon Rocks America tours started this year
2004
Pokemon Fire Red and Leaf Green games came out, Pokemon Colosseum also came out this year, a RPG for game cube
2005
Pokemon XD came out this year, the sequal to Colosseum. Also we learned about Deoxys, a pokemon that has many different forms
2006
Lucario is dicovered in America! Pokemon Trozei is released in March, this marks the 10th anniversary!
Pokemon has been around for a long time now, and for fans like me, we remember our first year, 10 years ago......

New Japanese Episode Title Revealed
A new Japanese episode title is now revealed: Smoochum and the Three Jynx Sisters!

A new pokemon, Manafi!
A new pokemon has been released in Japan, it's name is Manafi and it is most likely a water type legendary. Here's a Corocoro scan of it
We are also getting three new pokemon soon if you look closely at the picture, the only thin they've revealed is some silhouettes, heres what we think they are
1st pokemon: A pre-evo of Mantine
2nd Pokemon: An evolution of Flaaffy or a brand new pokemon evo line
3rd pokemon: Absol pre-evo? Could also be a brand new species

The English name for the 8th Pokemon Movie has been revealed! It is called "Lucario and The Mysterious Mew" That also means Rukario's English name is Lucario!
