Tennis sponsorship opportunity
Dear sir/madam
I have recently taken the decision to turn full-time as a professional tennis player and embark on a career in the sport.
I had completed the third year of a course at Stirling University and
was set to return to complete my honours year, but having achieved
significant progress in my world ranking over recent months, I have
decided to pursue my goals in professional tennis.
I have just broken into the world top 500 in singles, and my doubles
ranking is under 350. I have achieved this
success by winning and getting to the later rounds in Futures and
Satellite tournaments run by the ITF, and now plan to step up to
Challenger and ATP level events, where the rewards and publicity are
greater.
I am the leading Scottish-based player, and travel extensively in
Scotland and throughout Britain, as well as competing overseas. I am
based from my family home in Linlithgow, and compete Scottish and
British tournaments, as well as many international events in varied
locations.
I am seeking a sponsorship to facilitate this travel and help in
providing the support I require to perform at this level such as kit,
personal coach, physio and accommodation when travelling. In return for
provision of sponsorship, I can offer your organisation the opportunity
to show your support for a dedicated, aspiring and successful Scottish
sportsman. This would be through name patches on playing kit, mention
and photographs in media, and publicity shoots. I would also contribute
to articles in company publications and attend company events when
available.
I hope that you find this proposal of interest; I would be pleased to develop it further as appropriate to your organisation.
Yours sincerely,
Colin Fleming
