TOOMEYS AND RELATIONS

Maurice Argent and Ethel Fuller London to Canada

Many years ago two illegitimate children were born into my family in London. They were adopted by other familys, the Argents and the Fullers, never to be seen again by their family.

Maurice was adopted by the Argent family in Kilburn London.  He emigrated to Australia as a young man, he ran a postal service using camels.  I have found a reference to the death of a Maurice Argent aged 69 years, Parkville Australia  1976. This is probably my Maurice. I have yet to find his marriage, it is quite possible he stayed single.

Ethel was adopted by a Fuller family,  they originated in Walden Sussex, moving to Eastdean and then Eastbourne, again both in Sussex. Their address on the 1901 census is  24 Norton Road Eastbourne. Connected families include Loughborough and French.  I have the basic tree from around 1830 onwards. If anyone has information that may help me in my search for the descendants of Maurice and Ethel,  I would be execptionally grateful to them for passing it on. There is a slim chance that Ehel is still alive, it would be wonderful for her to know who her parents were. Ethel has a sister who is still with us, also many other relatives who would love to be in contact with Ethels family.
