I've just completed (prior to editing) my first quirky novel, and this cover for it -
POINT OF VIEW - Synopsis:
Horace Mayberry, an inexperienced introvert, and blind since his early teens, is fitted with bionic eyes, using advanced nanotechnology. They are inherently intelligent, but controlled by his brain to develop new facilities as different stress conditions dictate. After extensive training, he is recruited into a secret government department and accompanied by an experienced extrovert agent, he embarks on a series of adventures, and unusual missions.
As his confidence and abilities grow, his character and personality also develop. He learns how to cope with all kinds of situations, including computer hacking, meeting a girl friend, and being abducted more than once by the members of a sinister international organisation who are after the secrets of the company that developed the bionic eyes.

It
was the 29th European Science Fiction Convention, and it took place in Copenhagen over the weekend 21-23 September in 2007. I believe there were over 600 visitors and delegates, and the programme was full and varied, and entertaining. Yes, I was there, and met up with all the illustrious guest authors, in attendance, including Anne McCaffrey, Harry Harrison, Stephen Baxter, Zoran Livkovic, and many others. Apart from the book signings, I took part in the masquerade Stage Show, performing my outrageous medical scientist routines, and was rewarded with some laughs, and even a couple of encores. (Photo by Carsten Riis, rest below with my camera ...!)
"Tony who?" Yes, I did discover at least one fan of mine there ... and even made some new ones ...!
and DV himself is insisting, "Buy your copy immediately ... or else ..!"
