TØNNE was started by Alt-Gr and Caps Lokk the 27th february 2006. Both Alt-Gr and Caps Lokk are two musical inventors. Using old computer equipment for making obscure and unnatural sounds and emotions through music. After the album Gaffel 2000 the tastert was set as TØNNE's main instrument for the album Man in soup, which can clearly be seen in the Man in soup music video. Later on they began using other instruments as well such as guitars and synths. Their weird way of tweaking the synth and sound itself was genious at the time and it still is. This made TØNNE to something really special. TØNNE has become more and more extreme and emotional in their music. And their music is just developing itself all the time. Their latest release, the Gaffels Among Us single is maybe TØNNE's strongest and darkest masterpiece. Although,  the Tastaturum release is the most obscure and darkest full-length album they've ever released. It strikes your mind with a force which goes directly to your subconciousness.

TØNNE split up?
It is true that TØNNE recently split up. Caps Lokk is moving to england a few years. When he moves back only time will show if TØNNE rises from it's grave.
