Introduction
Welcome, my name is Tom McPherson, I am a young artist with a passion for Steam trains, predominantly Southern Steam, this being a life long passion of mine. Ever since I was young I was always doing drawings and paintings of steam engines, this being a hobby of mine. Although it's only been a few years that Ive been interested in doing things properly with oil paint on canvas. I feel very passionately for the former Southern Railway, I see a blank canvas as a window, through which I can create a scene that I was never able to see in real life. I'd love to think that I will progress as I get older, and eventually create a career out of what I love doing.
