In a recent interview with Katie Couric, Katie asked:,  “What does honor mean to you?”

Tom replied, “I think it’s doing the right thing, doing what is correct even in the face of adversity. And if you know something is right, you do that, and you stand up for what you believe in, what you know is correct.”

“You know, when I make choices, it’s not just what is best for me. You know, it’s what is the right thing. What is the right thing to do. And I think through everything that I’ve been through, that I feel I can sit here and say I feel good about it. I feel good about the decisions that I made and I’m happy. You know, I’m really happy.”
