Marchon's Enchanted Kingdom Horses

G'day! Welcome to my Enchanted Kingdom Horses site. Please enjoy yourself!

                                ***Aussie and proud of it***

Hello all! My apologies to those who have tried to contact me through the site; I have fixed all the email links so please try again if you like - I want to hear from you! I have made some small updates, and one excellent update to the Carriages page! (Go on - go and have a squizz. I know you want to...) I have several new photos that will be uploaded shortly, including a brand-new Horse, and, AND! (Wait for it...) a video clip! Didn't see that coming did you? Thank you to everyone who has visited my site. Please don't be a stranger! (Keep coming back) Thanks!

*Many thanks to KMLahti and Cliffjumper for their help and generosity; without them I would not have several of the Horses I do in my collection. Thank you both!*

This collection was made by Marchon™ in 1984, and again from 1987 - 1989.

These are referred to as First Edition and Second Edition.

                              1984 Packaging (First Edition)

The 1984 collection consisted only of horses and were known then as  Enchanted Horses.

Each horse came packaged on a card with a cardboard name tag, brush, and the occasional extra accessory.

These horses came with metal chain reins.

                        1987 - 1989 Packaging (Second Edition)

Marchon™ re-launched the collection again in 1987 that continued through to 1989 with new look packaging, second editions of 1984 horses, new horses, new reins, horse and pony sets (1987) princess dolls, horse and carriage sets (1988) and even with light and sound!

These exciting new items came packaged on a card in a variety of ways: a single horse, a horse and princess, a horse and pony set, a horse and carriage, a horse, carriage and princess, a princess, or two horses.

Adult Enchanted Kingdom Horses were made in two poses:

                               Posing                                   Prancing

Ponies were made in one pose:

If you have a Horse, Pony or accessory not shown on this site that you would be willing to sell, please don’t hesitate to contact me about it!

If you have information or photos of any Horse, Pony or accessory not shown here please let me know!

        Identifying Enchanted Kingdom Horses

Every adult Enchanted Kingdom Horse has a pearly white plastic beaded border down her mane and around her tail (Modelled here by Valentine)

They don’t have any kind of trademark. The only thing you might see on her underside is a clear sticker that reads Made In China.

The Ponies don’t have borders on their manes or around their tails, they are about half the size of the Horses, and instead of combable hair most Ponies have soft fluffy fur. Note! There are some exceptions though. A couple of the Ponies have combable hair like their mums, and one Pony has the same beaded mane border as the Horses. See the Horse & Pony page for more information.

I have added my own “difficulty rating” in finding each horse. Note that finding any Enchanted Kingdom Horse complete with all accessories is a task!

1: Not difficult. Probably one of the first new collectors will find

2: Not too difficult with a bit of patience

3: You’ll need to keep your eyes open

4: Hard to find

5: Very hard to near-impossible to find (don’t be disheartened though - I found them and eventually you will too!)
