Hi and welcome to our farm! We are a small hobby farm outside of Lafayette Indiana. This farm has been in my family for generations and I hope that it will be for many generations to come! We raise and breed Katahdin and Jacob Sheep along with Dairy Goats. Sheep are not new to my family, for when I was growing up we raised,breed and showed Suffock and Hampshire Sheep for many years. With that being said the Katahdins and Jacobs are a new adventure for us, that we are enjoying. Our Katahdins came from Morgan-Meadowsong Farm, A BIG THANK YOU TO KATIE MORGAN for all her advice and guidance! Katahdins are a breed of hair sheep that shed out twice a year at our farm. Ewes lamb with ease and normally with multiplies. They are resistant to many diseases and very easy keepers! The Jacobs Sheep were gotten for alittle bit of color and diversity in the flock. Jacobs are very mild mannered and have 2, 4 or even 6 horns. They are one of the oldest breeds of sheep, and their wool is black and white.
