"Ancient Mirrored Dreams" is a comprehensive compilation of poetic voice.
Colleen Smith gives the reader insight of her inspirational vision using different mediums of expression.
Her rhyme poems are unforced, keeping within the natural syntax, without distorting the visual that has been painted.
One of my favorites is Smith's, “Silver Butterfly“.
Silver Butterfly
The water ripples.
hands emerge to pierce the face
of what appeared my image
becomes displaced.
They rise upward
silver casing around
developing
a puzzle above ground.
Becoming what
I clear my eyes.
A butterfly woman
on the wing of the skies.
I look to view
such beauty above.
This flying freedom
born only from love.
She hovers a moment,
speaks not a sound.
Then flees away upward
away from the ground.
"Ancient Mirrored Dreams" is a "poetry pleaser" for anyone that dares to dream. A nice way to spend an evening.

“Inspire the Heart, Inspire the Mind, Inspire the Spirit”, is a collection of different poetic styles. Full of emotional ups and downs in the process of healing.
With each word written, Tanisha L Herrin expresses the strength of her determination to move forward in her journey toward tomorrow.
My favorites were her Haiku. So much said in only 17 syllables.
A nice collection.

"I’ve Been There Before" author, Leslie A. McGuinn, writes from the heart; from her love of family and friends, to the love of her life, to heartbreak, then finally, promise. In doing so, we the readers, learn of the chapters the make-up the life and emotional history of McGuinn.
In essence, poetry can be the quintessential door to an author’s heart; this reviewer believes, that with this collection, McGuinn expresses to the reader her soul. Questioning the why’s; until realization answers.
I’ve Been There Before is a timetable of life, unending.

"Moons, Dreams and Majical Things" by Tonya Busbee is a collection of truly expressive poetry.
With each poem, Busbee captures the reader; with brilliantly crafted poetry that has style, movement and meaning. Her creativity in which her work is displayed is an art form itself.
Included within the folds are quotes from other authors which I find unnecessary. Ms. Busbee's work is just as compelling, but I do understand her need to pay tribute.
"Moons, Dreams and Majical Things", is the exceptional voice of author, Tonya Busbee.
Overall a great read, I highly recommend it.

Rhonda Moat’s, "101 Random Ramblings and Poems", is a well written expression of the sorrows and tribulations the author has experienced. Both introspective and reflective, Moats, with mere words, has looked out at the world around her and with an intensely personal vision and precise expression, created a book of extreme emotion that will touch her readers with the ins and outs of her reality.
On many levels, I’m sure each reader will association with one or more of the feelings voiced within the pages of, "101 Random Ramblings and Poems".

Nadia Brown presents a collection of poems that is a rich tapestry of words. 'Unscrambled Eggs", is intimate and compelling coming across sometimes as a confession, then again, reflective. Brown’s poems often speak to her readers in imperatives, giving the reader quite a lot to ponder.
Ms. Brown has a way with a metaphor, creating an interesting expression of imagery that tickles one’s imagination.
I think you will enjoy this book, and like me, you will be revisiting it often. I highly recommend it.
