TONI is the main lady from our company. You can usually find her in the office attending to all the needs of the company. From running the office to loading trucks, she is hands on. Toni has also been known to take over the audio boards when things are just not right with the sound. She also works in our graphic arts department designing CD covers. Toni is the "T" in TKMJ PRODUCTIONS. She is of the Osage Nation born in San Diego, California. She was reared and trained on the Flathead Reservation in north western Montana.
Some of her accomplishments outside our company are attending Salish-Kootni College majoring in Native American Studies and The University of Montana, where she studied Paralegal Law and Cultural Anthropology. Toni also served our country in the United States Army following in her mother's footsteps. She dances Women's Traditional as her mother did, and has been requested at many powwows as Head Woman Dancer. Since childhood Toni has danced the circle at many powwows in North America. She has more miles around the circle then anyone in our company.
KEN comes to us bringing over 25 years of audio and recording experience. He is a Master Audio Engineer, trained in Cleveland, Ohio, home of the "Rock & Roll Hall of Fame". You will usually find Ken at the sound boards or at the 24 track recorders. He takes care of company sales and contracts. On the road you will find him setting up and running the sound system or doing on the spot repairs when things go wrong. Ken makes sure you can "Hear the Voice and Feel the Drum".
Ken has been an audio and recording engineer for many major rock and country bands. He has also played guitar for a major rock band. He dances the circle in a ribbon shirt due to his duties at the sound boards. If you see the sound boards with no one there, it's because Ken jumped into the circle to dance at least once around during a powwow. Try and keep him out during a veterans dance. Ken has also produced many Native American Drum groups in the recording studio. He is currently a member of the United States Air Force Auxiliary serving as a safety officer and flight coordinator. Ken also takes control and "flys like an eagle" in Cessna and Piper aircraft for recreation. Flying is one of Ken's passions in life.
LOGAN is a member of the Cherokee Nation. With his many years of audio engineering experience, he is the perfect choice to take control of your sound. He has set up and run sound systems for over 20 years. He has worked with and recorded many Native American Drum groups. He knows how the sound should be. Logan can be found at almost all of the powwows where TKMJ PRODUCTIONS produces the sound. When it comes to making the choice between working a Rock Show or Powwow, Powwow WINS everytime with Logan.
Logan dances Men's Traditional and is usually given the honor of taking one of the flags into the circle at the beginning of a powwow. He has served the powwow circuit as Arena Director. Logan served with honor in the United States Army. For many years, Logan has been making Native knives that are usually worn in the circle as a part of dance regalia. His designs are very functional, beautiful, and extremely sharp. Be cautious! "Does not play well with others". He wares a patch on his dance regalia stating so.
