This is Bennie, my delicate Sheltie boy who is three years of age. Ben came into our family in 2005 as a companion for Jake. At first they didnt get along, but soon became very close. As soon as we got him home, Bennie looked up to Jake for guidence and reassurance, he wanted to make friends with him and try and get Jake involved with games, and it soon paid off. Jake and Bennie have been together now for almost four years and find each others company very comforting.
Ben is intellegant and keen to learn new things. He is a real outside boy and loves nothing more than laying in the grass in the garden, especially in the rain! He is very gentle and good natured at home, but sometimes barks at other dogs when on a lead. He is often seen in one of his hyper moods whre he wont stop running around barking and getting up to all sorts of mischeif!
I call him my fairy dog because when the light catches the golden fur around his ears, it glows like the wings of a fairy.
