This is a collection of short stories relating to the Gods of old with a modern twist.

*Story One - The Heat of Battle

Logan McNair, US Marine, has been ripped from Earth in an explosion he doesn’t remember. What he does know is he’s caught in some wicked nightmare he thinks is a new Iraqi insurgence tactic. His doubts continue to plague him after he’s told he’s in the Astral Plane and is placed under the protection of Mórrígan, the supposed Goddess of War.

Logan can withstand a lot of torture. His need for her body is another issue.

Forged of Ecstasy and Chaos, Mórrígan feels an immediate attraction for the handsome mortal who refuses to believe what she is. Hell, she doesn’t have time to play with Logan. No. She’s got to get the War kicked into gear to please her overlord. One problem raises its ugly head, she wants him with all her being.

She’s either going to break the Laws of Ascension or she’s met one of her contemporaries replacements. She only prays Logan isn’t her replacement.

Their sex is sizzling hot, something not even Satan can extinguish, though he tries. The All-Evil returns Logan to Earth intent on destroying any emotion the Marine might have for Mórrígan.

Their love is forged in the Heat of Battle.

* Story Two - Beltane Rising

Sarah O’Neill is tired of her rebellious sister, Angelica’s antics. Determined to discover what Angelica is up to, she follows the young upstart to the top of the once sacred Indian meeting place of Council Cup. Sarah doesn’t buy the town’s whispers that Council Cup is rife with paranormal activity, and, possibly, holds a gateway to some other realm of existence. Nope. She just wants to get her sister home before their mother has another heart attack.

Cernunnos was once the powerful Celtic God of life, fertility, good fortune, and the underworld; now he is challenged with protecting a Border Gate to Satan’s realm of Hell. Not an easy task, and one made even harder when his minion, Cupid, finds three mortal girls to aim his love darts at. The full moon of Beltane is rising along with Cernunnos’ sexual tension. He’s got eyes for only one woman - Sarah.

The couple is thrust together in a night of passion and crisis. Cernunnos the great God of Old and Sarah the mortal novice must learn to trust each other while the moon hangs heavy over his castle or one will pay penance in Satan’s fiery domain.

Sarah is trapped between needing to go home and wanting to stay in the loving arms of her God. Cernunnos will do anything, even give his immortal gifts to her to keep her out of Hell.

Fate brought them together. They were destined to love forever.

Blood Orchid

This story just came to life for me. Featuring Mesada's irrepresible, and oh so hot, uncle from Night Beauty, Madeira Cordaire, this story is going to stand all by its lonesome.

Blessed by his legacy. Cursed by the hand of his mother.

Love cannot free him from the curse of the Blood Orchid.

Madeira Cordaire retired forty year ago from the International Paranormal Criminal Investigation Consortium to rule the Southern Indian Island nation of Cordoba. Not an unusual thing for this Royal Vampire to do. After all, he's been the acting sovereign since his father was infected with the Blood Poisoning in the Sixteenth Century.  He had no idea he'd meet his next bride when the CEO of IPCIC asks a special favor from him.  Ruling was as natural as breathing for him. Loving Anna Belle was a whole other story.

Anna Belle Farrell isn't looking for love or fame; she just wants to get through life, raise her sister, and then worry about all the mistakes she's made. Sounds simple, but in the modern world or working as a bookkeeper in IPCIC's accounting department it's far from. She's shy, naive, and totally unequipped to deal with the full-force mentality of Madeira Cordaire, and the illicit thoughts he plants in her mind.

Savage Time

Savage Time

Going back to my roots in fantasy and mixing it with one of my favorite authors, H.G. Wells - Savage Time is a story that came to me like a breath of fresh air.

This fanta-historical takes place in the latter 19th century. Sophocles Wickwyer works for a super-secret organization before terms such as Covert Ops and Black Ops came into common language. Super intelligent, she's about to take the most incredible journey of her life with a man who makes her want to hate him, loath to love him, and die for another moment in his arms.
