Whole herd CAE & CL Negative 2/11/08-thru WSU.
Thank you for visiting the website of Tivio Toggs.This is a relatively new herd,incorporating some old lines.This is a small show herd of American Toggenburgs, American Oberhasli, and Purebred/American Saanens.
In my endeavor to breed the best possible Toggs, Obies, and Saanens the herd is on DHIR,we use ADGA Linear Appraisal, Artificial Insemination, and show in surrounding states. As you can see from LA Scores, show wins and production records, each year brings more improvements with scores on daughters well exceeding their dams.
Oberhasli were added to the show string in 2004 with the purchase of "Token". I was fortunate enough to be able to join in the syndicate of Devonshire Creating Havoc,2005 Spotlight Sale doeling. In 2008 I was given the honor of adding the best of Carolyn Kirwan's Oberhasli. Following the "Hassida" lines with most of the does sired by a Hassida son.Some double bred on GCH Hassida-2008 National GCH, once again.
I added a Saanen in 2006 just to keep with the "colored" breeds.
The herd is CL neg. and CAE NEG as of 2008.Kids are all raised on heat treated colostrum and pasturized milk. Bucklings must be reserved before birth or they are disposed of at birth.
