1. AIRPORT CLEARANCE Tirah Customs Agency provides the services of clearance and shipping in airports as well. Goods taken or brought from the abroad are cleared and shipped. Clearance in airports is a technical job therefore it requires customer's full cooperation. Our agents fully confirm themselves that the customer is satisfied with the services provided by them. 2. DRYPORT CLEARANCE Tirah Customs Agency actively interacts with the Dry port staff at Dry port. Therefore they always welcome our agents. Import clearance and shipping from dry port is our routine work. All customers are welcomed in matters related to dry port and airport. 3. DUTY AND TAX REMISSION EXPORT (DTRE) RULE 2001 Different kinds of chemicals are imported and exported by so many firms in Pakistan under DTRE Rule 2001. This rule includes technical certain stages in import and export of chemicals. Our Agents are fully aware of it and have full practical knowledge over this rule and knows that how the chemicals are imported and exported under this rule. Some firms are still taking advantages of our services and are constantly importing and exporting chemicals under this rule by us. LG Petrochemicals, Aysco Plastics, Typhoon Chemicals and Shafi Petrochemicals are some of the leading companies to whom we are providing the services. 4. TRANSIT TRADE CONSULTANCY TCA is well reading transit trade with Afghanistan. Before, Transit trade was allowed to Afghan citizens only but later on Pakistani traders also started taking advantage of it. Transit trade, as the name indicates means "trade without paying any duty and tax in Pakistan rather then in Afghanistan". Traders will have to import goods through Karachi Port, Pakistan and will take them to Afghanistan without opening in Pakistan. But they will have to abide by the rules and regulations of the Pakistan Customs. Also transit goods are not supposed to be opened or sold in Pakistan because they are not custom paid goods. Hence, these are duty free goods. Nowadays, Pakistani traders also produce the Afghani documents in foreign countries then they are given permission to take goods to Pakistan and then to Afghanistan through transit trade. |

TCA COMMUNICATION CELL Communication plays an important role in the development of trade activities. That is why TCA has established a communication cell. This cell provides the better transport facilities; communication devices i.e. short range cordless telephone and long range cordless telephones, fax machines brand new and reconditioned and certain types of telephone sets. Transportation includes the provision of six tires trucks, ten tires, sixteen tires trucks and heavy trailers. Special types of heavy trailers are also provided which can load up to seventy-five tons. We try our best to assure the lowest fare charges for our dear customers. 6. BORDER TRADE AND SHIPPING PROCEDURE Pakistan's border trade depends upon the situation and demand of the open market. Our clearing and shipping procedure is simple and clear. Whenever a customer (exporter or firm) selects us for export clearance it informs us about the transport in which it wants to load the goods. The customer sometimes arranges transportation but often we are given the honor to arrange for customer. After arranging transportation we notify the vehicles marks and number and then a special permit is arranged for the vehicle by which it can travel up to the required vehicle and after its arrival enters the shipping bill with the shipping bill entry registrars. After the entry of the shipping the Inspector Customs is informed or directed by the Superintendent Customs. After examination of the Truck(s) or vehicle(s) Inspector Customs prepare a summary report and then after attesting the documents superintendent allows the vehicle to pass the border. After Customs allowance a special gate pass is made by our agent and after showing it in the gate the vehicle crosses the border of Pakistan. During the whole process our agent constantly observes every thing and keeps himself ready for any mishaps. Alhamdollila, from start to end the whole process of shipping and clearance remains under our control. 7. IMPORT OF VEHICLES Tirah Customs Agency has been specialized in import of vehicles from other countries. Vehicles import depends upon the demand of the market, and customers. Sometimes like coaches and coasters are imported while sometimes light vehicles and cars are imported from Dubai and Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Import policy of vehicles depends upon the policy of the central Board of Revenue, Islamabad. Vehicles for Non-Government organizations and Diplomats are also imported, which serves cheaper than country assembled vehicles, as they are non-custom paid. Also vehicles are imported under special type of Temporary Route Permit (TRP) whose renewal is necessary after a specific given time. Import of vehicles depends upon the customer's demand and the fund reserved for it. 8. INDENTING THE SPARE PARTS Spare parts of the automobiles are imported under certain conditions. If the customer demands for the spare parts of the automobile under his personal use or then if the shortage of the spare parts is observed in the open market. But the above conditions are not necessary for the import of spare parts; the reason is that customer's satisfaction is preferred. With the import of the spare parts of the vehicles the option of import of machineries and their parts is left with open. We also indent specific machineries for organization working in Pakistan, Iran and Afghanistan. 9. FREIGHT MANAGEMNET TCA has a comprehensive experience in freight management. We know better how to manage freights and other things. We have experienced staff reserved for it. Though it is not a part of our specialization yet even then we do the same job and the customers remain satisfied with our work. Incase we get some problem, for this we get the help of several firms, with which we have close contacts and whenever they are needed they are called. Freight Management is done if the customer is interested. Raaziq International (Pvt) Ltd and Free Line Movers are some of the firms with which we have interactions. |

FUTURE PLANNING TCA
has some future planning, which it is going to implement sooner
Inshallah. Some of the major projects that it is going to start are
given below. PARKING
AREA FOR TRUCKS AND TRAILORS |
||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| ESTABLISHMENT
OF OFFICES THROUGHOUT THE COUNTRY
Though TCA has a nationwide clientage but still it is not enough to produce such revenue, which may run nation wide offices. Therefore as soon as TCA will obtain a specific revenue level its offices would be established in all the provinces and different regions of Pakistan. The establishment of the offices of TCA would give a positive response to the customers and clients which are farther from the head office of TCA situated in Peshawar, NWFP. Also, it would increase the clientage and the customers would get the maximum early possible response from our side. Also TCA would be able to facilitate the customers as well. |

| Dear
Valued Customers
Tirah Customs Agency is grateful to all its customers who always provided us with an opportunity to serve them and manifest our skill and experience in the completion of their projects. |
10. MARINE SHIPPING CORPORATION TCA has not left the Marine shipment untouched. We are constantly in touch with marine corporations. Hanjin and Ying Ming Line are the largest marine shippers to whom we are in touched. We are establishing our links with them and hopefully we would sooner be working as their franchise (Agents) for Peshawar, NWFP. Most of our customers bring goods and items from China and Hon Kong through marines therefore we are constantly working for them to facilitate them in this field as well. Marine shipment is a technical work by its own. Risks are taken when the freights are taken from one place to another. Hanjin is a well-known marine corporation from South Korea where as YML is from Hon Kong. 11. UNDER CLAIM FOR REBATE TCA has full knowledge about how to gain and take back the money (*taxes and duties paid on some goods which are returnable) in certain cases. Our agents try their best to complete their claim for money with in the required time. But the customers should be aware of it that the government inquiries take time and hence they cannot be pressurized. Often rebate claims are cleared with in twenty days but we try to clear it with in the fifteen days. As in rebate case money is to draw back from government treasury there for the documents for rebate claims should be made complete. Only then it would be easy for our agents to complete the course of duration in given proper time.
It should be borne in mind that the above-mentioned table denotes the fee exclusive of any tax; the customs gate pass and Levis gate pass. The exporter or importer will have to pay all other taxes and duties including Rah Dari, Permit and speed money if paid. Also if the transport were arranged by the TCA then it would be responsible for any transport charges, but if the trader arranges the transport then TCA would not be responsible for any changes paid by the transporter or truck driver. If the customer or exporter does not belong to the NWFP region but belongs to the other provinces then we provide additional transport services to the customer. That includes the permit/Rah Dari as well. |
