New challange
So Biggest Loser is starting new tonight. I never really believed in this show. WW teaches/drills that a slow weight loss is best-the usual 1-2 pounds a week. Seeing the large numbers every week on the show messes with my head. But with that in mind and with the idea that the show is very motivating I have decided with 4 of my friends, we are going to do our own BL challange. Nothing major-5 girls wanting to lose a total of 5 pounds a week between us. We are going to have emails to support each other. Find new healthy foods and recipes. We are going to share what we know about different weight loss programs and help each other meet our goals. Baby steps and patience will get us there.
On that note I am starting my weight loss BL at 172. Not pretty at all.
So many changes, so much to update
I got married on January 25th of this year, no I am not expecting although some days I am so bloated that one would think so. Ick. But now that is all over I can focas on my sister's wedding and the big show that Chris and I are still going to have in Sept. Right now I need to take my time, have patience and go slow with Weight Watchers. I have a goal in mind for my Maid of Honor dress fitting in June but I am not really ready to share my starting weight or my goal yet. Soon I will and I will post pictures of our little wedding day. :)
I just want to say thanks for all of the nice guestbook messages. I really get motivated when I hear that others have found my site helpful. Its also nice to know that I have been Googled. LOL!
Welcome all Newbies
I am Tink/Tinkes/The Tink. :) I have been on the WW journey since April of 04. I don't know everything that there is to know about WW-I don't advertise that I do but I have found soooo many helpful hints and tips and words of wisdom along the way. This is why I created this site cause I had all this information and keep loosing it or misplacing it so I had to put it all in the same place so it was easier for me to find. But then what good would that do if I kept it all to myself? So I decided to share cause hey, I am nice once in awhile. So browse around, check things out, leave suggestions if you see something you think should be added on here and have fun. WW is a something we do for life-the rest of our lives-once you grasp that and learn to be happy with all of yourself then you know that you are going to make it.
Guestbook entries....
You all are amazing. Reading your messages remind me to keep going, to keep counting and to keep making little changes to change. I am so very happy that this site has helped many of you start or rejoin WW. I first started this site cause I needed 1 handy place to keep all the information that I had collected and then I thought about how important it is to share with others and to help others. I try to make little changes to keep it updated and fresh for those who have been reading this for over a year now. The support of strangers can go a long way when one is having a bad day.
They are back!!!
My collar bones are back!!!! I am sitting on my bed and I scratched my neck and felt a bump and wondered what the hell it was...well by george its my collar bones! WWM
Stands for "truth, justice and the American way" its a clique, gang, made up of homies that sit at the cool/popular table at lunch. If you were meant to know what it stood for then you wouldn't be asking. And does anyone really care anymore anyways?
Spread the word and tell everyone that you know that

Do not worry about tomorrow. Tomorrow will have its own worries. The troubles we have in a day are enough for one day.

I just have to say how much my WW friends mean to me....everything! Not only are they there when I am trying to figure out if ice cream can be counted as a dairy serving but they check my site for updates and leave me the most comforting words of suport and love. This is family-thru the good, bad and ugly we are there to help each other out. We may never get to see anyone face to face(although I hope to) but I can say that they are my close friends that have shared personal victories and setbacks with me. We may not always agree on everything but in the end we are stuck with eachother by a common bond-our goal to want to be fit and healthy. We are not alone ever in this journey. Thank you girls.
