Maethan Stud

My name is Tina and I live in Droitwich Worcestershire. I have only recently started to breed rabbits again, I used to breed 5 years ago but due to ill health gave up. My love for rabbits has never died and I always wanted to start again, as I now have 3 children this encouraged me to go and get 1 as a pet but as we all know that never happens, so off I went on my travels to get my foundation stock. I decided I was only going to breed certain colours so that I could remain a small stud. I spoke with several breeders and my thanks must go to Cheryl @ Cariad Stud (find her site on my Links) for my foundation stock. I am a BRC member , I do not show at the moment but by next year will hopefully be well on my way. Any rabbit that I produce that does not fit into my breeding plan or is not suitable for showing will be sold on as a pet to a good home only!! and the money from this will be put back into my hobby and love for rabbits. As you can appreciate I am not a large stud compared to some so I will not always have stock avaliable. All my rabbits get regular exercise and are handled regular by both myself, my daughter and my mother as she likes to keep her hand in. Well I started out only breeding Mini Lops but have now gone into French Lops & Netherland Dwarfs, once again my thanks must go to Cheryl @ Cariad Stud she has always offered help & advice along the way.
