Oct. 26, 204: The site has moved! Everything should be up and running at http://www.timrusstribute.com by now. Oct. 20, 2004: We are moving! That is, this site is changing registrar and going to a new server. Expect some down period over the next few days, hopefully it won't be too long, though! Anyway, all files will remain on this server for at least a month, so if by typing http://www.timrusstribute.com you get an error message, try http://www.freewebs.com/timrusstribute - the old URL should still work and help us over the few hours or a day when the domain has moved away from this provider's registrar, but has not been fully installed yet at the new provider's home.

Oct. 3, 2004: I made a few new vidcaps, this time from the VOY-episode "The Cloud". These new Tuvok-pictures can be found here. Also, I found out by chance that "East of Hope Street" was released on DVD on September 21. I did a Google search to see if maybe one could start pre-ordering, that's how I found out! Anyway, it's available already from pretty much everywhere as my Google search revealed. If Tim hadn't told me in Stockholm in August that it would be out this September I would never have dreamed of looking for it....

Sept. 24, 2004: I added more information on the "Bugsters Tunes & Tales" to the Bugsters-page, including a scan of the cover and a list of the songs plus the credits.

Sept. 21, 2004: I added a new event in December to the Conventions-page. Also, my copy of the new "Bugsters Tunes & Tales" arrived today, there will be more information on it within the next couple of days!

Sept. 1, 2004: The new "Bugsters!"-CD will soon be available. In addition to the stories from the previous CD this one will feature several new Bug-songs. You can check out the cover plus a short description on Tim's webpage. Also, I added a link to more pics, reports and media material about SWECON to my Conventions-page.

Aug. 29, 2004: I added three group pictures taken by Maddy in Vegas to the "Family and Friends 2"-page. The pictures show my friend Judy, myself, Jedda and another girl that was sitting with us in Vegas. On one pictures Tim stands right behind us as well.

Aug. 28, 2004: Pictures from SWECON! I finally got them all uploaded, you can find them here.

Aug. 26, 2004: Major update! My con report for SWECON is up! Check it out here. Also, I finally uploaded the pics of Jedda from Vegas, since she approved them when I showed them to her in Stockholm. They are here. And last but not least, I updated the Current Projects-page with information on the upcoming DVD-release of "East of Hope Street" and the "Bugsters!"-sequel, plus added this information to the "East of Hope Street"-page and the Bugsters-page.

Aug. 25, 2004: I added a link to pictures of Tim at last week's SWECON to my Conventions-page, and I updated the page with a few snippets. I am currently working on my own report and pics, which will be up soon.

Aug. 8, 2004: I added the airdates for Tim's latest directing jobs, two episodes of the FBI Files, to my Current Projects-page. Also, I started a new page for pics of Tim's family and uploaded a few pics of his sister Angela, his daughter Maddy and his niece Jisel to that page. Hopefully there will be a few pics of Jedda soon as well - I am waiting for her to authorise the pics.

Aug. 7, 2004: More Vegas pics! I just uploaded my pics of Ethan Phillips to the "other actors"-page. And boy, am I proud! My pics of Kate made it onto Kate's official webpage! Check them out at http://www.totallykate.com/vegas4/index.htm! And there even is a link back to my page there now! Isn't that cool? More to come soon...

Aug. 6, 2004: Vegas pics! I uploaded the pictures from Tim's two appearances (the talk and the Dessert Fantasy), you can find them here. Pictures of Kate Mulgrew from the same event are on my "other actors"-page. More pictures to follow, so stay tuned!

June 22, 2004: Today is Tim's birthday! The Star Trek Stardate Calendar celebrates this occasion with the following picture (it's a thumbnail):

And I celebrated the day by putting my Voyager DVDs to good use and making more Tuvok-vidcaps, this time from the episode "Phage". You will find these here.

May 29, 2004: Some pictures of the other actors appearing at FedCon in Germany last weekend can be found here. This picture-page is not interlinked with the rest of this site, as you may remember.

May 26, 2004: I uploaded my pictures of Tim from FedCon in Germany last weekend. You can find them here. He was rather jet-lagged and in some pics it shows that he is tired, but he did very well on stage and "Roddenberry on Patrol" was extremely well received. Pictures of other actors from that event to follow, plus hopefully a short report as well.

May 16, 2004: I added information on a new event, a convention in Sweden in August, to the Conventions-page.

April 11, 2004: The upcoming seasons of Voyager-DVDs will contain several interviews with Tim. Not only will the season 2-box feature a special on Tuvok, complete with interview, but according to the latest news at trektoday.com, there will also be a special on the episode "Flashback" included in the season 3-box, with interviews with Tim and George Takei.

April 2, 2004: I added the link to a review of "Roddenberry on Patrol" to my page for this project. The review appeared on the trekweb.com-site and is a very interesting read.

March 31, 2004: I updated the Conventions-page again, and I added the interview at startrek.com again, that was online for 2 or 3 days last summer and then disappeared miraculously. It is very nice and can now be watched as a video clip as well. The link is on my interviews-page, the second one from the top. Isn't it strange that startrek.com put it back online only a couple weeks after I gave up on them and took the link off?

Feb. 25, 2004: More pictures! This time from ep. 8 of "Highwayman", titled "Warzone". You can view them here.

Feb. 21, 2004: There is a short article on trekweb.com about an event at the Air and Space Gallery, which was attended by Tim, Ethan, Bob and Garrett. There are a few pictures as well. It looks like Tim is off the crutches and Ethan got rid of his brace. Good for them!

Feb. 16, 2004: The current issue of "Star Trek Communicator" (#148) has an interview with Tim, where he discusses "Roddenberry on Patrol", directing and music. You can find the text portion of it in my interviews-archive - the first one on the index-list.

Feb. 15, 2004: I re-scanned my cover of "Roddenberry on Patrol" and uploaded it to the "Roddenberry on Patrol"-page, since it is now signed by Ethan Phillips, Bob Picardo and Robert Beltran as well.
I also scanned the cover of the new "Lost Era" novel "Catalyst of Sorrows" by Margaret Wander Bonnano, since - unlike recent Voyager novels - this book makes good use of Tuvok. It's a thumbnail, as always.

Feb. 13, 2004: I added some information on Tim's upcoming jobs here, plus added a link to startrek.com's convention report to my conventions-page.

Feb. 12, 2004: Some very special pictures of Tim and his family have been added to the Family and Friends-page, and pictures of the other actors that attended the convention in Seattle last weekend can be found here. Stay tuned, there's more to come!

Feb. 11, 2004: Most of the pictures from the convention in Seattle are up! Be warned, though, Tim recently had an accident while playing basketball, he injured his ankle badly, had surgery and is currently on crutches. He had me worried when I saw him hobbling in on his crutches! But he is taking it in good humor and is fine, despite the injury. Anyway, the new pictures are here. A few more pictures of Tim and his family are to follow, plus hopefully a report and a few pics of the other actors. By coincidence, Ethan Phillips had his right arm in a brace as well, since he injured his wrist in a bad fall - and since the two were on stage together you can see both of the injured guys in some of the pictures.

Jan. 6, 2004: Happy New Year, everybody! First update for 2004: planetxstudios.com finally has a link for ordering "Roddenberry on Patrol". I added it to my page about the movie and to the Links.

Dec. 30, 2003: I added some preliminary information on how you can order the DVD "Roddenberry on Patrol". Hopefully I'll soon be able to give you a link where to buy it, since a 1-800-number is not of much use to people outside the US.

Dec. 20, 2003: Another update! I updated the Current Projects-page with information Tim revealed at Seatrek 2003, and I added a new page about his latest directing job, "Roddenberry on Patrol". He also stars in it, as do several other Trek actors. I made a few vid caps for that page and scanned in the cover of the DVD. There will be a couple more vid caps of Tim's part in the movie later this weekend.

Dec. 17, 2003: I added the group picture as promised, since my suitcase finally arrived. I also corrected two links on the interviews-page. Except for the video-interviews at startrek.com that are currently offline (though their tech support said they'd be back...) all the links should be working now.

Dec. 16, 2003: The pictures are up! I took so many of them that I had to make two new pages, and I didn't even use every single one... The first half of the cruise pictures is here, the second half here. I left a gap on the first page, since my group picture with the stars is missing together with my suitcase. As soon as it arrives I'll upload it to that position. It's really special. You'll see!

Dec. 9, 2003: I am in Aruba, and so is Tim with his family and his mother. I saw his latest project, "Roddenberry on Patrol" yesterday and he did his guest talk. A more detailed report will follow soon. We also had our pictures taken with the actors yesterday - other than Tim there are George Takei, Garrett Wang and Casey Biggs. I am taking pictures like crazy, they will probably come online some time next week.

Nov. 20, 2003: I added a new event to my conventions-page. And for the record: I feel stalked! I booked for that cruise about a year ago...

I finally found the time to scan in the picture of Tim from the latest issue of "Astronomy" as well as the part of the article that deals with Tim. As always, they are thumb nails.

Oct. 21, 2003: I added some more information on "Roddenberry on Patrol" to the Current Projects-page, a new appearance to the Conventions-page, and the pics from LondonExpo last weekend. The pictures can be found here, from row 3 onward.

Oct. 3, 2003: I added a new event to the Conventions page.
I also highly recommend the "Lost Era" novel "The Sundered" by Michael A. Martin and Andy Mangels. It is a Captain Sulu-novel and features the crew of the Excelsior, among which there is also young Tuvok and he is really well written! Check out the cover of the book below, it's a thumbnail.

Sept. 4, 2003: Convention problem solved: Tim will be in London the weekend of Oct. 18/19. I updated the conventions-page accordingly. Also, you might want to find this month's issue of "Astronomy Magazine", they have an article about "Stars on the Stars" where Tim gets some coverage.

Sept. 2, 2003: startrek.com sucks - the latest interview is offline at the moment. I emailed them and they promised to look into it and put it online again. Let's hope they do.
There is also the problem of two convention sites announcing Tim for the same weekend - one in Michigan, one in London. He can't possibly do both. Hopefully this can be sorted out in time for those that might be interested in attending.

August 24, 2003: I added two interviews to my archive, one is brandnew, at startrek.com, the other new one is the interview with Cinefantastique about season 4 of Voyager. I finally got that issue at the convention in Vegas earlier this month and finally managed to type it up. Look it up on the interviews page (Nov. 1998, they are in chronological order) or check it out here. I also checked all the links to online-interviews, and where possible, updated them. Unfortunately I could not find the video interviews at startrek.com. They may be currently offline (they are in the middle of a major redesign) or permanently, I do not know yet. I left them in, but added "currently offline" to the index.

August 22, 2003: The convention report about "Reunion" is up as well. You can find it here. Tim will also be a guest at FedCon Germany next spring, so I added this event to my Conventions-page.

August 21, 2003: Yet another major update! I added the convention report about Tim's appearance at the Vegas convention, I added a little bit about a new project he's working on to the Current Projects-page, and I decided it was time to change the front page by putting a more recent picture there. If you liked the previous one better, it's still in the top left corner of every page and at the bottom of the page with the Seatrek 1999-pictures. All these smaller pics are thumbnails and will show you the large version if you click on them.

August 17, 2003: The pics from Reunion Con in Leicester are up! You can find them at here. There may be a few more coming from this event, once I get those on the film roll back from the lab. Stay tuned!
I also updated the Current Projects-page with a scan of the cover for the new audi-book "Genesis Force". If you haven't got it yet, it's highly recommended. Tim does a great job, all the characters sound differenct, yet it is always recognizably Tim's voice.

August 14, 2003: I added a new event in London to my Conventions-page. Tim is doing a lot of conventions this year!

August 13, 2003: The pictures from the Vegas-Con are up! The quality is uneven, the ones from the talk are rather grainy and dark, but the ones from the concert are mostly great (at least in my humble opinion). You can find them here.

August 12, 2003: "Bugsters!" won "Parenting" magazine's "Gold Award for Best Children's Audio Book, Ages 4 and up"! I added this information both to my Bugsters-page and to the Awards-page.
There will be a massive update in the next week or so, with tons of new pictures from both, the Vegas-convention and the convention in Leicester, con-reports, etc.

July 12, 2003: The tentative convention appearance in Germany next year has changed date and place. I adjusted the entry on my conventions-page accordingly.

July 8, 2003: I finally got "Elite Force II" - a few credits, the cover picture and first impressions can be found on my Current Projects-page.

July 2, 2003: I added information on a band-gig next week to my conventions page.

June 20, 2003: Woo hoo! My pic with Tim from the Grand Slam convention has finally arrived! It's up now with the other pics from Pasadena here (last pic in row 2).

June 14, 2003: 15 more scans of autographed publicity stills are up at the new Publicity pictures-site.

June 13, 2003: A few updates on the Current Projects-page: "Elite Force II" has a release date, and I also added a link to the cover art and a short audio excerpt of "Genesis Force".

June 9, 2003: I started a new page with Publicity Pictures of Tim. So far 15 of my autographed pictures are up there. With one exception (the last one in row 3) they could all be obtained through his fanclub or directly from Tim at conventions at one time or another. I do have more, and I have other publicity pictures that are not signed, so I'll continue to scan more of these and add to this page.

May 29, 2003: I added a second (more informative) URL for the convention in the UK in August.

May 28, 2003: I added a few events to the Conventions-page, hopefully I will have more information on these soon.

May 4, 2003: The demo version of "Elite Force II" is online. I added the link to the Current projects-page. Have fun!

May 3, 2003: Tim on DVD, part 2! I vid-captured his appearance as the Klingon mercenary T'Kar from the new DS9-DVDs. The pictures can be found here. I also added a link to the "Elite Force II"-site, where you can download a trailer for the game, to the Current projects-page.

April 18, 2003: I added some more information on the new computer Game "Elite Force II" to the Current Projects-page. The game is now scheduled for release in 66 days - sounds like late June to me.

April 11, 2003: The E-1 convention in London next month has been cancelled! I added that information to my conventions-site.

April 7, 2003: A few pictures of Tim from the Grand Slam convention are up now here. There are not too many this time, and they are all rather dark.

April 5, 2003: My report on Tim's appearance at the Grand Slam convention is up! You can find it here. The few pictures that are marginally usable will follow early next week!

April 1, 2003: I added a link to the report on Grand Slam at startrek.com to my Conventions-page. Tim said more than that, though, which will be covered in my own report that will follow in a few days. He also confirmed that he'll be doing the next "Genesis Wave"-audio book!

March 15, 2003: I uploaded 30 more pictures from Italy at the link below. Those are from Tim's talk on Saturday. More pictures to come.

March 13, 2003: First pictures from Italy are up! The pictures I took at the concert on Friday night can be viewed here. I have lots more pictures, not just of Tim, but also of his adorable little daughter, so there will be a lot more soon!

March 11, 2003: I added more information on "Elite Force II" to the Current Projects-page, and added the information that Tim has an upcoming directing project for April (that's all he said about it in Italy).

March 10, 2003: Tim's new CD, "Brave New World", is out. I got it last weekend at the convention in Italy, for more information check my page on Tim's music and my page on Tim's credits. Stay tuned for pictures and a report on the convention!

Feb. 23, 2003: I updated the Conventions-page with information on an upcoming appearance in Indianapolis.

Feb. 16, 2003: Jim Wright's Deltablues are back! You can find the new URL under "Links".

Feb. 11, 2003: A visitor of my web site sent me a link to the webpage of "Artworks unlimited" - where you can see what became of the truck used in "Highwayman". I updated my Highwayman-page to include that link. Check it out - the truck looks great now, they have repainted it, but it's still recognizable!

Feb. 10, 2003: Check out the trektoday.com webpage and submit those special questions that you have wanted to ask for quite some time to Tim. His replies will also be posted to trektoday soon.

Feb. 3, 2003: I found an old interview with Tim online and added it to the interviews-page. Check it out, it's from May 1999, at Supernova convention in Manchester, UK. You do need Acrobat Reader in order to read it, though.

Feb. 2, 2003: I checked links and updated some while removing some broken links. Most noticeably, I located a version of nyfilmvideo.com's currently off-line page on "East of Hope Street" in the internet archive and put the content up here - at least as a temporary source for the therein contained information. Should their page go online again, I will link back to the original.

Jan. 17, 2003: I am sooo excited! Tim just sent out details on his recent directing jobs through his fanclub-mailing list. If you are not a member, you can find it all on my Current Projects-page. Episode titles etc. are still missing, but he will hopefully give us more information as soon as he has it. Oh, and I have of course also updated the credits-page with the new information.

Jan. 15, 2003: I added yet another convention-date, August in Las Vegas, to the conventions-page. Tim seems to be getting around this year!

Jan. 13, 2003: Tim is returning to Saddleback College as a teacher! More information can be found on the conventions-page. I also added these news to the Current Projects-page.

Dec. 31, 2002: Since I received a message from the timrussfans-yahoo list this morning I had to update the page about Tim's current projects. Good news there, he has recently been directing things for SciFi-Channel!

Dec. 30, 2002: Last update for 2002! Since recently season 6 of TNG was released on DVD and I therefore have now a good quality copy of Tim's episode "Starship Mine" I made vid-caps of this episode. They can be found here.

Dec. 27, 2002: I added a new Chatroom to this site. I will try to be there on Saturdays at 4 PM EST.

Dec. 26, 2002: Since I was informed recently that it is considered bad taste not to open links to other sites in a new window, I changed all my outside links so that they now will open in a new window. Hopefully that will help with search engines... expect another update soon!

Dec. 1, 2002:: We have a domain name! This page can now be reached under http://www.timrusstribute.com! That's much easier to remember and far less to type. I also realized that some links on this website were broken and updated them. If anybody finds any more broken links please let me know, I am sure I forgot a few!

Nov. 24, 2002:: I added a date for the convention in London next May and a link to their page, where more information will soon be available. I also want to remind everybody of the Charity auction that is currently being held at Tim's official webpage!

Nov. 17, 2002: I added new pictures from ep. # 7 of Highwayman and updated the convention schedule. Also, if you don't know it yet, Tim's webpage is about to start a Holiday Charity Auction in support of the Zenith Youth Homes. Check it out here! Start date for the auction will be November 23.

Oct. 30, 2002: Tim will reprise his role as Tuvok for the sequel to the game "Elite Force". More details and links to a preview and description of the new game can be found on the Current Projects-page.

Oct. 14, 2002: I made more Tuvok-vid caps, this time from the episode "Time and Again". They can be found here.

Sept. 26, 2002: I added yet another event to the conventions-page.

Sept. 23, 2002: I added a new appearance in Australia to the conventions-page. In addition to that I added a new page with pictures from Highwayman, episode "The Billionaire Body Club". Pictures from the opening sequence of the series have been added to the Highwayman-page.

Sept. 15, 2002: I added pictures of Canter's Restaurant/Kibitz Room, where Tim is performing semi-regularly to the music page and uploaded the "Bugsters"-cover with now 5 autographs (Tim, Jedda, Ethan Phillips, Chase Masterson and Bill Burchell) to the Bugsters-page.

Sept. 13, 2002: New pictures, this time from the VOY-episode "Parallax" can be found here. I tried a new resolution and I think they came out really nicely this time.

Sept. 1, 2002: While in L.A. recently I visited the places where "Future's End" was filmed. Those pictues opposite screen shots from the episode can be found on my new Future's End Special page. It will load slowly, though, since I did not use thumbnails this time and there are lots of pictures.

Aug. 28, 2002: I added a link to Kate's page with pictures from the Cleveland-event last week to my conventions page. Tim is on page 6 of that album.

Aug. 27, 2002: I added the interview from Star Trek Communicator #137 (thanks, Laura!) to the interviews-page (it's the third link from the top in the index). I also revamped the Pictures page and included links to the various sub-pages on the main pictures-index.

Aug. 26, 2002: Yet another update! I added two more pictures to the Vegas-Con-site (the last one from the talk and the very last one at the bottom) and two pictures of Tim and Jedda taken at the recent Vegas-Con to the Family and Friends-page (first row, in the middle), plus tons of new appearance-dates to the conventions page.

Aug. 24, 2002: Major update! Not only are the pictures from the two recent events up here and here, I also added a new site map to make navigation easier and help newcomers to find their way around this constantly growing site.

Aug. 23, 2002: My reports on both, the Las Vegas-con as well as Tim's musical performance in the Kibitz Room on Aug. 17, are finally online! I also added a rumored performance on Sept. 3 to the conventions-page, as well as redesigned it a bit, so that it now not only contains a list of upcoming events, but also links to reports of past events. In addition to my own reports and the report on trektoday that I had added before, there is also a link to a Vegas-con report at startrek.com now. The pictures of both events will probably be ready by tomorrow.

Aug. 8, 2002: For those that can't wait for news I added a link to trektoday's report on the Las Vegas-con to my conventions-page.

Aug. 7, 2002: I added the full credits for "Bugsters!" to my Bugsters-page. I will rescan my CD-cover since I got it signed by Chase Masterson and Jedda as well and will put up this new, improved version once I am home.

Aug. 5, 2002: I attended the convention in Las Vegas on Aug. 2 and just got my first pictures developed. A con report and new pictures will follow soon, so keep checking back here...

July 19, 2002: Tim will be participating in the "virtual convention"-experiment at the Vegas con in August. I added a link to this vir-con's page which has all the information on how to participate to the conventions-page.

July 11, 2002: Star Trek Monthly has done yet another interview with Tim for their #94, check it out in my intverviews-archive! I also once again updated the links in that interviews-archive. Since many interviews are no longer where they used to be I restored most from my own downloads. No copyright-infringement is intended, though. I only want to keep these interviews available to the fans of Tim Russ without having to chase for the new link every few months.

April 13, 2002: Tim's official web page is currently down. It will be back soon under http://www.timrusswebpage.net. I have already updated all links I have to his page to point to the new location, but they won't work for a while. They are planning to get the page up and running again within the next two weeks. April 2, 2002: I added a page for Tim's latest achievement, the newly released audio book for children, "Bugsters!", and a few pictures from an episode of "Fresh Prince of Bel Air" that you may have caught in repeats recently.

March 26, 2002: I updated some links (apparently startrek.com keeps moving the interviews around and the links were not working anymore...)

Feb. 14, 2002: Added a new link for Tuvok-fan fiction.

Feb. 10, 2002: Startrekuk.com is back - so are the interviews.

Feb. 2, 2002: Since startrekuk.com is currently offline I pasted the interview with Tim from Voyager: The Return last July onto a new page. This link is now working and the interview can be accessed through my interviews-page again. I do not have a copy of the other interview Tim did for startrekuk.com last March, though. I marked this link as currently not working. I hope I will be able to get this interview online again soon. If anybody has downloaded it, please contact me. I have also emailed the webmaster of startrekuk.com and asked for help. So there is hope :-)

Jan. 29, 2002: I added the new credit for Tim's appearance as a "Juror" on "Any Day Now".

Jan. 12, 2002: One reader of this page alerted me that the galaxy.tv-website is currently non-existent. I kept the links to it up for the time being, since I don't know if this is only a break for redesigning the page or permanent, but I added a warning that the link is not working at the moment. Since I had the press release for "Art Police" on my hard drive I pasted it onto my own "Art Police"-page. That means only the actual episodes are currently off-line, the information is available here.
I also added some information on the convention in Italy in March that Tim is planning to attend.

Jan. 5, 2002: I started the new picture-page, about Tim's Other parts

Jan. 2, 2002: The first Tuvok pictures are online! There will be more, so stay tuned.

Jan. 1, 2002: I began the new year with an update! I added a few links, the new credit for the audio book "The Genesis Wave, Book Three" (you can find a picture of the cover plus an excerpt here) and a short bio on Tim that I wrote based on material from his webpage/former fan club, interviews and stuff he said at conventions.

Dec. 26, 2001: Tim's little nephew has arrived! Check out the family tree!

Dec. 2001: Right now the whole page is new! Watch out for additions, though. Hopefully the page will get bigger and better all the time!
