Hand bell recordings
This is a collection of hand bell recordings made on various different sets of bells in a number of locations (including some you won't expect!) being a mixture of tunes and method ringing
Tune ringing
The following recordings were made in Kingston church, Dorset by a group of three (myself being one) using 8-12 bells, 2, 3 or 4 in hand, using my set of 15 bells (tenor 21 in Eb). These pieces were originally practiced over a couple of weeks for the 2009 church fete and later recorded! Not the best examples of tune ringing, but gives a feel of what can be achieved with a small set of handbells and a few practices!
Having been asked back to play again at the 2010 fete the group Clapper Chaos was formed and are now available for bookings (details at https://sites.google.com/site/clapperchaos/). Clips from some of our more recent recordings can be found below. We now use a set of 20 bells (still 21 in Eb) and ring a mixture of 4 in hand and off the table.
More recordings to follow as I get around to making them!
