In the early hours of tuesday morning 1:00 am in England an eartchquake shook the country to an early awakening. At 5.2 on the ricktor scale the shake caused minor damage all over the country, Scotland, Wales and the aftershocks even reaches far as Holand.
Thank fully only one person was injured during the quake as his roof collapsed and crushed his leg. Experts say that the reason for only one injury was due to it strwas asleep or in their houses.
The epicenter of the quake was in Market Rasen only 8 miles away from Tim, whos parents woke him up during the quake.
Overall it lasted for 10 seconds and ecperts say that we can expect earthquakes like this one every 25-30 years. This one was the biggest quake in 25 years.
Over the past couple of weeks, severe weather has been sweeping across america. One outbreak on February 5th 2008 sadly claimed the lives of 57 people and left over 200 people homeless.
Storm number 1 produced a tornado which damage path covered ober 120 miles! This tornado produced damage on an EF3 scale in some communities.
Storm number 2 caused damage in Gassville as the tornado moved north from Marion to Baxter County, AR. One fatality was caused from this.

Light snow fell in Baghdad on friday. Weather officials say that this snow fall is the first one in what could be 100 years. The snow which fell in Baghdad melted as it hit the ground. It began to fall befor dawn until 9 am.
The snow was a result of to air flows meeting. The snow fall is linked to climate change which is happening everywhere, places which are supposed to be cold are warm. This can also be seen in the very early outbreak of torandoes in America. Only yesterday there was a tornado outbreak in Mississippi. Below is a preliminary storm report for the vancouver tornado.

THE TORNADO TOUCHED DOWN SHORTLY AFTER NOON NEAR VANCOUVER LAKE THEN MOVED NORTHEAST INTO HAZEL DELL WA. PRELIMINARY ESTIMATES PLACE THE STRENGTH OF THIS TORNADO AS AN EF-1 ON THE ENHANCED FUJITA SCALE WITH ESTIMATED PEAK WIND SPEEDS OF 90 TO 110 MPH. THE TORNADO WAS APPROXIMATELY 1/4 MILE WIDE WITH AN INITIAL PATH LENGTH OF TWO MILES. IT APPEARS THAT THE TORNADO LIFTED UP AND TOUCHED DOWN MULTIPLE TIMES...WITH THE LAST REPORT OF TOUCHDOWN NEAR HOCKINSON WA AROUND 1240 PM. DAMAGE REPORTS FROM THE INITIAL PATH INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING: - 200 TREES DOWN....MOST OF THE TREES WERE 12 TO 24 INCHES IN DIAMETER WITH APPROXIMATELY 6 TREES IN EXCESS OF 30 INCHES IN DIAMETER. THE LARGEST TREE TOPPLED WAS 50 INCHES IN DIAMETER. SOME OF THE FALLEN TREES RESULTED IN DAMAGE TO HOMES AND VEHICLES. - 12 HOMES WERE DAMAGED...PRIMARILY ROOF DAMAGE. - 4 POWER POLES WERE SNAPPED OFF. - A SEMI TRAILER WAS TIPPED OVER
