People say he was arrogant, brash, rude and loud... and they'd be right, but the fact he was hated for it, I find a bit harsh. Changing from one person to a totally new person, is bound to make one a bit tetchy, there's also bound to be some side-effects... especially adding to the emotional state of him. I must add, that I also disagree with what a vast majority of fans said about his coat being 'neauseating' - I quite liked it, Loud and vibrant, like he was. It definately suited him... including the pants, I loved the pants. Moving on...
Personally, I loved what he did with The Doctor, you wanted to kill him half the time but after awhile he grew on you...
Unfortunately, Doctor Who went through a 18 month break, not exactly giving people a chance to warm up to his character. (Which probably explains why people keep bagging him out -shakes fist-) When Doctor Who came back, He had calmed down a bit and so had his hair.
Colin said that he'd wanted to make his Doctor calmer, and the start of the new season, the behaviour change had shown. Unfortunately the BBC blamed him for THEIR problems, saying it was him bringing the ratings down. Of course, it was the scripts, using old plot lines to feed stories...ect ect.
Conclusion: Colin Baker would have done well, if he was given some more time on the show and some good scripts.

Doctor 7

Played by: Sylvester McCoy.
Well, to start the story off. I shall say...' I had watched every other Doctor except Sylvester... From what I had read It seemed to have lost the doctor who feel to it, making him sound more of a super hero than just your average crazy timelord that knew more than you thought, Though, One boring afternoon I had decided, in order to keep my sanity, I would have to occupy myself. So, I got out the Dr.Who DVD's and decided to check him out. - Sure, The story was bizzare... to a point of being embarressed for the people on camera, But, much to my suprise, I ended up loving the 7th Doctor. I must have been crazy to think I could dislike one of the Doctors.
More information soon. -Is Lazy-
Doctor 8

Doctor 9

Doctor 10

Companions
Adric
Adric was born in Alzarius, had a badge for mathematical exellence which he wore proudly,
could heal faster than any human and travelled with the doctor in his Tardis.
He tried to fit in with the girls (Tegan and Nyssa) but he always felt like an outsider,
He bickered with Tegan and disobeyed Nyssa, they behaved like any family would.
The Doctor treated Adric as if Adric were his son, guiding him and caring for him greatly.
The Doctor was devestated at adrics demise.
Adric gave his life preventing a frieghter crashing into Earth.
Adric was brave, had a big appetite and could do mathematically sums within seconds.
You couldn't hate anything about him.
Conclusion: You just started to know him, personally and then he went off and sacrificed himself! Grr!
Turlough
Vislor Turlough was found in brenden School, London.
Turlough took Bridgadier Lethbridge Stewarts car and crashed it.
While unconcious, The Guardian gave him a propersition, that he agreed to.
He'd help kill The Doctor in return he'd get to leave Earth.
He tried many times, with stones and at The Guardians command, rewired the Tardis,
causing accidents and unfortunate malfunctions.
He rebelled against The Guardian and was free of him when he burst into flames over
a choice Turlough had to make. (Watch more Doctor Who to find out about that one)
He had red hair and shifty eyes, which unfortunately made him look extremely guilty,
Turlough was cunning like a fox but strangely loveable.
He left when he was reunited with his home planet. Trion.
Conclusion: Sure, He tried to kill the Doctor, but being with The Doctor changed the way he looked at life, he found friendship and then leadership... He should definately come back to the new series....
