My name is Donald R. Waters and I am proud to announce the introduction of one of the trucking industries newest and innovative patented safety devices, "Timbertite" the only dunnage securement device on the market. We have spent countless man hours designing and developing the best solution for dunnage securement for flatbed operators. Until now, there has been no device specifically designed for dunnage securement beneath flatbed trailers. In my research about 80% of drivers are using rubber straps ( which break easily or become vibrated loose on rough roads). About 10% use boxes on their trailers or boxes built into their bulkhead ( which are very expensive to purchase or maintain). About 5% use some type of ratchet strap ( where the driver must actually get under the trailer to secure it). The remaining 5% are other devices or nothing at all. Timbertite mounts directly to the trailers landing gear. Timbertite's greatest feature is the way it is designed to maintain tension at all times. If the dunnage were to become loose on rough roads the device is designed to self adjust and help prevent this problem common to other methods of dunnage securement.
