— Every character has a player. Every player should be treated with respect. Your feelings toward someone’s character should not reflect upon your feelings/treatment of a person OOCly, and vice versa.

    — We accept most species, not just wolves/canids. We also tolerate most "special" abilities/appendages, as long as you have weaknesses as well as strengths. If you're uncertain, ask. :3

    — Powerplay and godmoding is never tolerated without OOC agreement between all involved parties.

    — Please, no chat-speak. Common abbreviations of phrases (lol, afk, brb) are allowed, however.

    — We completely understand that not every post can be monstrous or amply detailed, especially if you have a large group of people playing. Sometimes, it’s just not practical. There’s no need to apologize; we get it, honest. ;D

    — If you’re inactive without explanation for a period up to two weeks, your character(s) will face demotion or removal from the pack. We understand that sometimes you are unable to communicate your absence, however, and exceptions may be made on a case by case basis if you speak with the alphas upon your return.

    — Always use brackets for OOC. Please, do not flood the screen with excessive OOC chatter while RP is in progress.

    — It goes without saying (yet I’ll do so anyway, to be safe!) that you should always, always respect those who rank above you, whether or not you agree with or dislike them! The chain of command is in place for a reason.

    — We are a family, and strive to treat each other as such. We encourage our members to interact with each other ICly AND OOCly, and to note that you need not always shadow the alphas if you wish to do other things, unless your presence is requested. Mingle!

    — Additionally, don’t feel as though you have to stay in or around the den all the time, though if you plan to go outside of our territory you should always take another pack member with you.

    — Defend your family, but do not greet strangers in a hostile or defensive manner if no threat has been issued towards us. If someone comes into the den, you must post toward them, however do not jump to conclusions as to their intentions until they make it clear themselves.

    — You are allowed to challenge for a rank. However, all challenge fights must be monitored by an alpha, beta, or gamma. Please be sure to put the fight on hold ICly until one of these is available. Rank challenges are not to-the-death.

    — When wolves select a mate, it is usually for life. We won’t permit our members to have multiple mates or to breed without intentions of becoming a couple. You may, however, take another mate if yours is killed or leaves the pack.

    — Taking a mate outside of the pack is only permitted if the individual is an ally or from an allied clan, or if they intend to join Timber Falls. In the event that an alliance takes on an enemy status and you are mated to them, you will be asked to terminate the courtship or leave. When in doubt, always ask an alpha!

    — Okay. Estrus. So, here’s the deal. We want to preserve the legacy of our pack without having a den overrun with pups. A female may come into estrus once a month, for no longer than 7 days, though it can be shorter and does not have to occur each consecutive month. HOWEVER, if the alpha female is in estrus, no other females will be permitted to breed until the alpha’s cycle has passed. Pups from the leader’s bloodline will always take precedence as they are heirs to the throne. Doing this ensures no other litters are born at the same time, so the pack can focus on preserving the royal legacy.

    — To prevent overcrowding, couples may only have a maximum of two pups per litter, the only exception being the alpha. Also, once you’ve had a litter, you are not eligible to conceive again until three OOC months later.

    — Females are to remain pregnant for no less than 4 weeks and no more than 6 real life weeks. The closer you are to full term, the healthier your litter will likely be. Earlier births may not be fully developed and may have complications or be smaller in adulthood. To have your litter any earlier or later than these times will result in stillbirths.

    — Pregnant females and puppies are to be protected and escorted at ALL times.

    — Puppies advance to adulthood after 3 real life months.

    — RP with one of our members if you are interested in joining or simply want a little more information about our family. All pack members can offer to bring you before the alphas if you would like to join. Of course, only the alphas themselves have power to accept you.

    — All members are placed as subordinates until an alpha chooses to promote you. Promotions are based on your IC performances, or sometimes whether or not you can sufficiently complete a task assigned to you. Please, do not beg for a position. Everyone has an equal opportunity to improve their status or challenge for another member's rank.

    — Once you have been accepted ICly into the pack, please make sure to mention our pack (and link to us, if possible! :3) in your character's description.
