Slackware on a ACER Aspire 1600 laptop

Configure and use Slackware on an ACER Aspire 1600 laptop

About

The end of the road...

Attention: This site is no longer mantained, since I no longer have an ACER Aspire 1600 with Slackware Linux. It has been really fun to learn and understand how Slackware works and to be able to run it on a laptop.

The FAQ

This page hosts a FAQ created from my experience working and configuring Slackware on an ACER Aspire 1600 laptop. Also included are some of the files used to configure Slackware.

Currently I use Slackware 10.2 but the FAQ covers Slackware versions from 9 onward and will be updated for new versions of Slackware, as long as I keep using it as my Linux distro -- which will be for a long time, I hope :)
