Top size brindle dog of nearly 12 months. Nice rose ears dark eye nice shaped head with nice length of neck which flowed into well laid back shoulders.Nice spring of rib on this youngster with good tuck up & level top line. Well angulated at rear, fitness & condition is coming on nicely. No weakness at the pasterns good bit of daylight under him. Immaturity was a factor in his placing in this class.  Will watch this one with interest in the future.  BEST PUPPY DOG and BEST PUPPY IN SHOW.

A top size dog of good quality, dark round eyes, neat ears, strong head and good shape with very good expression, good underjaw with big teeth and correct bite, straight front with the tightest fleet, moved very well. I would prefer a bit more spring of rib.

CC and RBIS

Topsize B/B of outstanding quality.  He balances out so well when viewed from any angle, height to weight ratio, beautiful clean strong head shape with correct proportions, great depth of skull and breadth of muzzle, lips clean and tight with good underjaw, correct bite with big teeth, well set dark eyes with well placed neat ears which he uses well to create that alert keen expression which followed my every move.  Strong, straight front, shoulders well laid back, great pasterns and feet, ample spring of rib with deep brisket, well tucked up at loin, level topline which was maintained on the move, good strong solid back end that is well angulated and muscled.  This dog is so balanced that it allows him to move with purpose and drive.  He is hard to the touch with his condition and fitness first class.  This is the first time I have seen this dog in his short show career, but hopefully I will be seeing him more in the future winning top honours.  So it gave me great pleasure to award him his first CC and RBIS.  I wish you all the very best for the future.  Well done!

Leeds Championship Show

24 July 2009

Judge: Mr M Grimwood

2nd Yearling Dog (5 Ent)

Brindle dog and a bigger lad all round than 1st but that is not to say that he is overdone in any way.  Strong muzzle, dark eye, straight in the forequarters, brisket to elbow good angulation all round.  Would prefer him lighter in the loin giving more body definition.  He moved very well.
