Greetings,

Thyrin Dirith is loosely translated from elvish as the secret warriors. We are a balanced US kinship, seeking to be neither a hardcore raiding guild nor hardcore RP guild but something in-between. We are looking for individuals who are defined not by their playtime but by their camaraderie and friendship, contributing to the guild as a whole. Every member is valued and we plan on having events for low level/casual members as well as everyday members and monster-play players.
We are small and tight from beta but looking to expand, looking for people who want to treat a kinship like a family rather than a way to get "uber". Most of our members currently play evenings and weekends, we don’t have an age limit but want mature players who are not self-centered or expect to raid every night. Powergamers and psycho-hardcore RPers need not apply, but if you play a lot with the patience to be around others who dont, or like to RP without insisting everyone else does, or just play in-between and want a home, we are the kinship for you.

Thyrin Dirith: The Story

Intending to avoid the politicking and corruption of organizations of Man, Thyrin Dirith was formed with the intention of being a brotherhood focused on the protection of all races. By being a society made up of those dedicated to valor above glory, it seeks members who will be willing to be Nameless; members who until called upon wear no badge of their deeds or assignment.
The society joins in secret and trains in secret, until such day as it is needed to defend any race which may be assaulted by the forces of evil; from the smallest hobbit village to the mightiest city of Man. Until a threat to all that is good is born upon the horizons, none shall know of Thyrin Dirith, however those members of the organization shall rise up with all their breath and determination if such an evil presents itself, and shall defend all races regardless of political agenda, until such forces of evil are defeated. At that time the members shall not seek any rewards but in its stead fade to the shadows, remaining trained and vigilant for the next threat.
