Norman Fell on "Sledge Hammer"

Roper

I saw Norman Fell (Mr. Roper from Three's Company on an old episode of Sledge Hammer. I remember seeing this episode way back in my younger days; however, for some reason, I thought it was Jack Klugman parodying his role as Quincy, Medical Examiner. Funny how the mind can play tricks on you.

Anyway, ya just gotta love Norman Fell. This guy was a comedic master with perfect vocal expressions and comedic timing. His facial expressions alone were enough to make you bust out laughing.

I wish that he had more of a career after Three's Company. He and Audrey Lindley were spun off into The Ropers, but that show only lasted for 1.5 seasons. And while Don Knotts is a comedy legend in his own right, I thought that Mr. Fell was just a heck of a lot funnier. I liked his more subdued comedic style a lot more.
